macam mane nak setup streamyx ?

computer saya baru aje kena antar kedai,so saya nak guna streamyx kat laptop saya.
tapi saya belum setup lagi..
so,bagaimane nak setup ? supaya saya boleh gune streamyx itu di laptop saya..

Control Panel / Network connection /  create a  new connection / next

Click connect to the internet /  setup my connection manually / connect using a broadband
connection that requires username and password /  isp name ( type streamyx )

Username ( type yang ko daftar dengan Tmnet : contoh amir_hero@streamyx )
enter password.

dan click add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop.

saya sambung sket

sebelum connect to streamyx...gi kat properties then klik kat networking kat atas tu....pastu klik kat internet protocol TCP/IP...then klik properties...then tick kan kat obtain an IP address automatically.

then kat bawah ti ko klik kat use the following DNS server addresses...
kat column preffered DNS server masukkan 202.188.0.133
kat alternate DNS server...masukkan 202.188.1.5

pastu klik ok...ok...then baru bleh connect

ok dah...

saya da buat da macam dealova fan suruh buat 2,tp time connected die kuar error:the specified destination is not reachable.

Kat awak punya Network Connection tu, ada Local Area Connection tak?
Sbb selain connection Streamyx mcm yg diorang ajar tu, LAN pun mesti ada gak
tadi Lucky ada disablekan Lucky nyer LAN
terus Streamyx putus & dpt error mcm error awak tu

Ko buat camni... tadi ko ikut dealova_fan nyer steps kat Post #3, tapi kat DNS server tu, ko pilih Obtain DNS server address automatically.

Pastu ko ikut steps trunks kat Post #2.

FYI, aku baru setup semula connection aku guna direct pc-to-modem and yang atas tu works.

streamyx kena pakai PPPOE (ntah betuller kot shortform aku) protokol... kalau tak install protokol nih dari cd yang dia bagi, memang selalunya tak dapat connect... kadang2 keadaan line yang teruk pun akan refuse connection kita...

Yup ko betul... tapi PPPoE tu takyah install - dah ada dah dalam XP (maybe OS lain kena kot). Masa dulu aku guna straight form PC-to-modem tak install apa2, setup guna cam trunk's nyer steps dalam Post #2 and tak pernah ada problem connecting to the net (kecuali bila streamyx pening buat hal).

Aku tak pernah setup for Jaring, but based on apa ko kata, probably Jaring tu tak guna PPPoE protocol... jenis always-on nyer kot.

Itu maksudnye samada streamyx kat kawasan sendiri problem kot.Cube check dgn streamyx.Dulu masa saya set up die ade kate destination not reachable.Rupe2nye pizza box die rosak.Tunggu 2-3 hari pastu elok.

Lagi satu,streamyx ni die boleh buat direct connection.X payah nak kene connect tiap2 kali.

Ala,kalau nak setup streamyx panggil la orang.Ayah saya dah jadi distributor telekom.So sape2 nak pasang streamyx leh la kontek saya..haha
