Salam semua.
Dulu aku guna XP pro network senang dan mudah diguna , tp sekarang aku coba Vista aku try buat   tak jadi jadi ..
adakah vista tak support Xp atau cam mana /
ada sapa sapa leh xplen tak?

tak faham soalan ngko...
apa kata ngko paste error message termasuk error code...
mcm mana dgn NIC...ok ke tak...kalo ok, network tu guna mcm mana fix IP ke DHCP...soklan ngko terlalu general..apa kata ngko elaborate...takde kene mengena dgn OS asalkan concept basic tcp/ip drpd IEEE tetap sama...

kat pejabat aku ada beli 2-3 biji pc yang guna win vista ni...before this kitaorang guna win xp...tapi skang ni ada problem skit....macam mana nak view kan dalam satu workgroup antara win xp dan vista??aku tak leh buat laa....nak share printer pun tak boleh....

kena make sure windows vista pcs are in the same workgroups as windows xp pcs. to check:
-> click windows vista button -> go to Computer and right click on it
-> select Properties
-> under Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings, check if your vista pcs are in the same group as your xp pcs. if not, click on Change settings to change. the rest is the same as windows xp.

to share a printer in vista:
-> make sure you already install local printer on your vista machine.
-> click windows vista button and select Control Panel
-> when Control Panel window opens up, click Hardware and Sound
-> under Printers, if you haven't install a printer, click on Add a printer to install - this printer will automatically be your default printer
-> if not, click Change default printer to make it default printer
-> to share, right click on the printer and select Sharing... - the rest is the same as windows xp.

if still not successful, make sure you the username you're using has permission to do the above. to check:
-> click windows vista button -> go to Computer and right click on it
-> select Manage
-> when Computer Management window opens up, on left pane, expand Local Users and Groups
-> click on Users
-> on right pane, double click on the username that you use to login to open its Porperties
-> click on Member Of tab and check its membership - make sure the user is part of either Administrators or Power Users group.

samada ko disable XP firewall atau configure XP firewall utk open port 445, tu yg berlaku kat tpt aku ler.  selepas tu bleh file sharing & print.
