beza wireless router dan access point?

guys.. aku nak tanya ler..apa beza antara wireless access point dan router tu? seingat2 aku dua2 boleh beri access internet guna wireless..

you mean, differences between wireless access point and router, correct?
Access point ni sama macam hub/switch. you use it to connect wireless device to the LAN. Router is use to connect the networks, LAN or WAN, and more intelligent. For example, if you have home network, with access point only, you cannot get to the internet because access point doesn't know how to route your data. Therefore, you need a router because router knows what to do with your request.

dua-dua tu lebih kurang sama aje. nama aje lain. the only difference is, access point ni ada wireless capability. switch tak de. access point manageable. switch, ada yang manageable, ada yang tak.

ahh.. i see..so there is no such thing as wireless switch lah ya? that thing should be call access point..
thanks for clearing things up oobi..i previously think that the switch and accesspoint actually functioning differently.. |

no problem. sama macam hub dengan switch. similar except that with switch, each port you get dedicated bandwidth. hub, you share the bandwidth with other devices.
