aku pakai anti spyware (spybot, search & destroy), pastu pakai AV avast..
harap2 cukup power..

dulu ada my frend kat US, try site ape ntah dia dapat mac mini free! tapi referral banyak gak laa kena amik near 100 persons.. i rasa those for in US/canada jer tu... kekadang yang fake pun bertimbun-timbun gak sites nyer...

it's still going around in the US. this is just another marketing tools. some of them are legit, others are just a scam. one thing though, they want you to try at least a few products on their sites and you need to divulge your personal information and recruit. then they sell the info to other companies. this is billion dollar business. they offer you laptop, desktop, plasma tv, ipod, mac mini, etc. and people do receive the products. the cost of giving away the products is just pennies compare to the profits they made by selling the info, again and again and again. just another legal way of invading people privacy.

they already consider everything. once you registered, you already fall under their game. think about it, why do you even register if you don't think, even as small as bacteria, that this may actually be true? they only expect to get 0.01 percent real info out of whatever number they get daily. so, for 10 million responses, they get 1000. they sell the info for $3 each, that becomes $3000. sell it to 10 companies a month, that's $30,000. this is worst case scenario. what those companies will do with the list, promote their products by calling you at odd hours. may not happen a lot in malaysia, but in north america, people hate it. you don't want to talk to telemarketer when you're having a nice dinner with your family, fiance, etc. another legal way to invade privacy plus free labor to promote their products.

no... terlalu banyak news pasal ni kat tv kat sini. dah banyak sangat orang kena. everybody knows, there's always a catch. you'll get the laptop but you have to give something up. no free lunch. sejak ada spam filter ni semua, marketers need to be creative to reach to the people. spam is illegal but this is legal.

you'll never know. i leave it at that. by the way, may not happen to you, but others? just remember, if it's too good to be true, it usually is.
