actually..bidang sc comp ni meluas..Computer Science is a subject in general dealing with computer hardware software. IT is a derived subject which is mainly involved in the management of inforamtion using computers.

Both computer science engineers and It engineers develop hardware and software. But the work done by IT engineers are mainly for the management of information.

skrg ni graduan kena compete utk dapatkan pasaran kerja...masa blaja tu kena la penuhkan diri dengan skills...kena ada soft skills....aper2 pun....pointer mesti mau power la kan...aku berpegang pada prinsip...aper2 pun course yg kite amik..kalau pointer n skill power..insyaALLAH kite akan dpt kerja...bukan bergantung kpd course yang kite amik.....

ini pendapat2 aku.

1) aku rasa job untuk comp science ni banyak. if people know you're good, you'll be amazed dengan all the approaches for help. if u set up ur own company, and provide services, u can actually charge the sky, sebab bile org buta komputer ni, and dia perlukan servis IT, dia takleh nak letak harga pada servis tu. for them computer/programming is like a big black box, dan org mcm kita je tau. tp aku takdela galakkan korang gi caj maut2.... hahaha.... contohla... if u have a company, u get a job, u're doing enterprise level customization... u can charge for your skills from RM 300 - RM 1000 per day. that's just basic programmer tau. but kalau kita baru start keje, and makan gaji, then betulla mula2 memang susah. btw aku tak sampai level bisnes2 ni ye... tp aku penah tgk proposal2 buat customization, and that's the basic rate.

lagi satu best pasal buat customization for ppl, if u do it, your customer is bound to get back to you the next time. sebabnye aku rasa masalah programmer2 antara kita jugak - kita tak suka sentuh keje org. so in the end dia berbalik pada kita. customer retention rate = tinggi.

2) aku rasa ramai yang menganggur, is actually org IT. comp science ni amat different dari IT. buat webpage is definitely NOT comp science. masalahnye bile org fikir IT, ramai fikir webpage. aku pun heran asal kuar mentaliti tu. pastu terjebak lak kat komputer science.

3) buat webpage, yup semua org bole buat sekarang. that's the problem. unless ko very niche, and maybe ko buat some backend (DB/sql/application logic). but if you're talking static website, sori semua org bole buat. if u grad knowing only that, then u better pray hard.

4) u have to do programming. that's it. and be really good at it. if you do that, you can do anything in computer science. tak tipu. masalahnye org kadang2 tak suka programming - and if that's the case, then seriously better quit IT and computer science.

good at programming maksudnye ko leh solve problem dalam programming - IN ANY PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE. sebab in the end all programming languages are the same - variables, arrays, loops, functions, OOP and such. syntax je lain sikit. this is the key to be able to learn other languages quick. if u think u are only strong in Java, but you are afraid to take .NET, then probably you are not a good programmer in the first place.

5) the way i see it, there are more and more computers. people are using more and more computers. businessess too. so imagine this - banyak kereta = banyak bengkel, banyak tv = banyak kedai baiki tv dan sebagainya. computer is becoming so prevalent, semua household akan ada satu. so the jobs will always grow. u just have to find them.

heeheh.. buat programming tak susah kalo ade minattt... dan selalu buat exercise programming.. InsyaAllah sekejap jee mahir buat programming.. Kalo reti buat programming senang aa nak carik kejer.. sbb semua pikir programming susah.. so yg reti programming ni sikit laaa.. yg sikit ni yg jadi tumpuan org..heheeh..

terutama time u..hahahaha.. mmg awek awek menhimpit laaa... tolong semua..hahahaa.. :pmuka:

bergantung kepada individu dan rezeki masing2.Semua cabang industri memerlukan kepakaran IT.Byk lagi yg memerlukan IT dlm industri even dalam pertanian.Aku pun nak smbung study ambik IT ni

aku kenal ah sket byk2 student yg amik sc com nie..even aku pon bckg IT..
better amik sc com dr IPTS sbb die byk sket pendedahan..mostly dr IPTA byk kene blajar sendiri..
tue yg aku tgk n tanyer ah dr member2 IPTA..tatau ah kalo lain U lain style..Maap ek if salah..

ikut pengalaman aku.. aku grad in it tapi skg ni smbg master in comp science...com science ni lebih detail ler subject nya....dan lebih susah compared to IT. that's why byk uni swasta skg tawarkan it.. coz lg senang nak lulus...
