anak alys yg dulu mmg selalu jgak kena sembelit nie.. alhamdulillah dah ok sikit...
sbb dier suka minum vitagen, food cereal dan fruits... klo mkn benda bcoklat dan jalan jauh siaplah kena sembelit balik...

Kadang2 sembelit ni bukan sebab kurang air or tak bagi makan buah etc tapi lebih kepada susu sebab masa anak sulung dulu memang selalu sembelit dan berak kadang2 berdarah sebab keras sangat..padahal dia suka minum air masak, makan buah etc.. Lastnya tukar jer susu dr enfagrow ke essential alhamdullillah problem tu solve sampai sekarang tak pernah sembelit lagi..so kadang2 mungkin sebab susu .

my dotter dulu masa dlm pantang pernah kena sembelit,pas tu bagi jus oren,satu sudu teh je,dah ok. Bila dah besar nih,2.4 yrs old,jrg sangat ler sembelit sebab dia mmg suka mkn sayur,buah,especially tomato. vitagen ada bagi jugak,tapi taklah selalu sgt sbb rasanya banyak gulalah,prefer bagi fresh juice.Pas tu,blh jugak amalkan bila dia bgn tidur pagi,bagi minum air masak,sure lawas pembuangannya..

Dora ada anak 2 mths plus. Dah 5 hari tak berak. Pagi tadi Dora kasi jus kurma.. amik jer isi kurma, letak air suam sikit...lenyek mcm jus...pastuh letak kat langit2 dia... lepas 15 mins anak Dora terus berak. berkesan pulak.

kekadang susu tak sesuai, kena tukar tukar susu tak pun cair kan susu, kalau baby bawah 1 thn x boleh bagi madu kan...

my son dulu susah berak sampai stool dia keras & terus fobia tak nak teran langsung, pergi doktor dia bagi ubat cucuk air masuk dlm anus tak sampai 10 minit dia dah berak, stool mcm air... doktor kata benda tu melembutkan najis so tak le sakit sgt bila berak, sbb dia kata mungkin dah luka kat situ... tapi dinasihatkan banyakkan minum air putih... ubat tu rasanya boleh dapat kat farmasi over the counter...

Dulu anak saya tak gemar nak berak. Saya beri vitagen tapi dia mcm fobia gak. Najis ok..pastu saya tanya kat NURY ttg masalah anak saya tu. Respond dari NURY, kena guna psikologi, relax dan jgn beri tekanan pd dia. Sekarang, semua dah ok...Dia pergi berak sendiri jer.

my both doter & i...dah ok dah...dulu kakak next year 4 thn....kalau berak cam taik kambing....tapi since we all minum air RX....alhamdulillah...problem tu dah settle...termasuklah i...ee...anak yg my sister jaga pun berak dah ok...kalau tak..tiap kali nak berak...menagis2...pusing satu rumah....sakit + takut..kesian...rx tu penapis air...air tak beli..i just angkut from my sister house...

Another tip I received from a friend last weekend when she heard Naqib has constipation. I knew it was for wind relief, but I never once thought it could help children with constipation. I went to the Guardian and got Naqib a bottle, and sure enough, Gripe water is for not only for wind relief, but it also relieves kids off digestive upsets (kurang hadam). One theory by my sis-in-law about Naqib's constant constipation is that his constipation is due to the way he ate. He eats very fast and likes to gulp down his food, maybe that's why his poop is so huge, that and also coz he holds his poop.

He's on it for 3 days now and pooped twice. That is improvement indeed! Pity, he doesn't like the taste of Gripe Water so I have to force it on him

Other good advices received from my family, friends and blogmates when they found out that Naqib has constipation problem. which I'd like to recap here.

1. Change the milk - some milk causes constipation in some children.

2. Increase fiber in diet. Lots of vege and fruits, oat, cereal, crackers, digestive biscuit.

3. Drink lots of water, juice, ribena, barley etc.

4. Bend and put up his legs against his tummy when he has the urge to poop. This will prevent him from holding in his poop.

5. My friend found this in a magazine. Make some asam jawa paste, rub it on his tummy and on his crown. Not really sure whether it works coz I did not do this to Naqib consistently.
