5 Tips to Stay Productive When Working from Home

Working from home is a new concept and is a part of the new normal routine due to the Covid-19 pandemic probably prolong until the virus can be slowed. For some people it can be fun working at home in flexibility. However, for certain people WFH may be difficult to adapt due to domestic disruptions. Somehow it will lead to distract lack of productivity and affect physical well-being. Here are the 5 tips that help you get going when you are WFH.

Find Proper Workspace

Try to find yourself proper space for you home office, create your own spot that you can associate and concentrate with your job. It is important for you to find proper desk, chair and spot it would help you to stay focus and comfortable throughout the day.

Dress Properly

For some people who work from home it may be advantage for them not to dressing up like they always do when work at the office. But that's how it should be. You must remain with your usual work routine before. Freshen up and get dress properly it helps you to get better mood and energy.

Organize Your Workflow

Before you even start working prepare a checklist of things to do, make sure you know what your priorities are for the day. Prepare your workflow prevent you from missed tasks, deadlines and meeting. You might have a sharp mind, but you are not able to remember every details of task.

Body Stretches

Sitting in front of the computer for long hours may involves few changes in body position. The worst part sometimes you don't even realize that is the cause of back pain, tightness in the neck and shoulder. It is important to actively taking a break every 20 to 30 minutes to stand up, stretch your muscle and change position. This lack of movement can lead to muscle pain and tightness. Stretch exercises help you to relieve stress and clear your mind for a while.

Limit Distractions and Interruptions

Physical distractions generally involve working when other also at home. Obviously, it quite struggles for you to get focus on task each time you' re interrupted. If you're working at home with kids, one of the things you can do to get them distracted by give them task to do and plan to check back at a certain time.
