Synopsis
Set in 1980 during the Gwangju Uprising, Youth of May tells the love story of a medical student Hwang Hee-tae (Lee Do-hyun) and a nurse Kim Myung-hee (Go Min-si).
Hee Tae becomes the pride of Gwangju when he enters Seoul National University College of Medicine with top marks. His best friend Kyung Soo, an avid pro-democracy activist, insists that they open an illegal clinic for students on the run from the government. One day, a factory worker is injured during a protest. In exchange for the costs of discreetly transporting himself and the factory worker to his hometown, Hee Tae must go to a meeting with a potential marriage partner arranged by his father. At this meeting, Hee Tae meets Myung Hee, a nurse persevering through the hardships of life. She only agrees to go to this meeting in place of her friend Soo Ryeon (Geum Sae Rok), because she needs to come up with the airfare to go study in Germany. However, Myung Hee and Hee Tae end up falling in love.

so far after 2 episodes i like it sebab ni period drama guna setting tahun 1981 masa student2 uni protes gomen diorang masa Gwangju uprising...sapa tgk movie A Taxi Driver sikit sebanyak tau pasal Gwangju uprising ni...so kalau tgk movie A Taxi Driver ni, kita takkan expect happy ending dlm drama ni lagi2 awal2 epi 1 ada tunjuk construction worker tu jumpa skeleton kat present time (2021)...
hero & heroin (Lee Do Hyun & Go Min Si) pernah jadi adik-beradik dlm Sweet Home..Lee Do Hyun mcm biasa tak menghampakan...
heroin pulak sblm ni jadi watak yg tak berapa disukai dlm drama2 dia sblm ni..iols pernah tgk dia dlm Sweet Home, Love Alarm & Live...dia memang berjaya buat kita menyampah tgk dia dlm drama2 tu...so kita tgk sama ada she can pull watak melodrama pulak...
epi 1 a bit slow tapi epi 2 is really interesting...tapi i suka the camerawork...suasana tahun 1980an tu dpt ditunjukkan dgn baik & nmpk cantik sgt...

so far belum berat lagi...macam love story biasa cuma berlatarbelakangkan event yg benar2 berlaku...
cinta antara 2 darjat...tapi yg menariknya sebab guna setting tahun 80an tulah...
nampak nostalgik je...
tapi xtaulah kalau nanti2 ada part sedih2 pulak...
kalau ikut formula kdrama mesti ada punya...

sebab dia nangis lepas dengar berita penemuan skeleton tu...
so bersedialah dgn tisu utk episod2 akan datang...
anyway utk citer gini sad ending is sort of expected...
i don't mind sad ending asalkan kena dgn jln cerita...
lagipun iols dah lali dgn sad ending...

Sedih ah citer ni...
I dah rasa x sedap hati bila hee tae dtg jumpa myung hee bwk bunga & myung hee punya expression nmpk x happy...ni mesti sbb soo ryeon...i know the situation is difficult tapi kenapa myung hee yg kena mengalah every time? Soo ryeon mcm xnak ambik tau pun apa yg myung hee rasa...not a true best friend...
Walaupun dua2 lead ni quite rookie but they are quite good in delivering the expression...blh tau apa dlm hati diorg just based on their expressions...ada masanya rasa berbunga2 hati ni & ada masanya we can feel their pain...good job... |

I start layan ep 1 bila baca komen u. So far i boleh layan jalan cerita dia, takde lah berat sangat. Kena continue sampai ep 6, baru i komen balik. I suka myung hee, nampak macam ekspresi muka kosong je tapi watak tu dia deliver dengan baik |

bkn setakat darjat je jadi penghalang tapi jugak atas sebab2 political...

lain drpd love story lain yg kita biasa tgk...
paling best sebab retro feel tu...rasa mcm betul2 masuk dlm zaman 1980s...
