IT was a pair of shoes made by a luxury Italian brand favoured by A-listers but one buyer was upset that its outsoles got damaged in just three days.

He bought the RM4,590 shoes at a discounted price of RM3,901.50 from a high-end shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, China Press reported.

He wore it to a business conference in Macau three days later. To his surprise, the outsoles were worn out after about three hours of use.

He lodged a complaint and requested for an exchange. But a shop assistant told him that the the damage was caused by the user, not the manufacturer.

The shop, however, did offer to replace the outsoles.

Displeased, the buyer filed a complaint with the Tribunal for Consumer Claims.

Subsequently, the Singapore office of the brand contacted him to request for a settlement. But the man was adamant about upholding his consumer’s right.

Eventually, the tribunal ruled in favour of the complainant, saying that he had not used the shoes to walk in a forest, hence such damages could not be done within hours.

luxury Italian brand biasanya org pakai utk special event. bukannya utk ko pakai hari2 .. luxury brand bukannya utk ko pakai lasak harian..  nak lasak pakai la safety boot.

So far tods je yg tahan lama maybe sebab jenis yang rubber sole. Yg full leather tapak keras licin tu tak sure but why would anyone nak pakai kasut tapak licin camtu i wonder la possibility terlentang in public sangat tinggi unless pegi hantar kedai alter letak non-slip sticker

Aku rasa kasut ni mmg dah bertahun2 atas shelves. Biasanya kasut leather ni ada shelf lifespan. Ala2 ada expiry date gituh. Seeloknya Gucci jual lelong jah mana2 kasut yg dah nak expired tuh.

Kasut tapak merah christian louboutin tu cikki2 pakai skali je dah worn out tapaknya tp pelik btol makin disayangi pulak kasut tersebut

Dramatic sangat kan, pakai 3 jam terus hauss gituh. Logik juga kasut ni dah lama bertahun, stok clearance sales kekdahnya.

Handbag mak aku menggelupas walaupun sheols taruh dlm lemari jah.

Memang logik la kasut ni dah bertahun-tahun dok di atas rak. Sebab berapa kerat sangat lelaki di Malaysia ini yang bernafsu nak beli kasut rega sampai RM4k untuk letak di tapak kaki.
