Assalamualaikum Dr. Ipes,


Saya cari dalam ni tak jumpa... so saya buka benang baru ya doc...


"Lymph nodes often swell in one location when a problem such as an injury, infection, or tumor develops in or near the lymph node. Which lymph nodes are swollen can help identify the problem. The glands on either side of the neck, under the jaw, or behind the ears commonly swell when you have a cold or sore throat".



Nak tanyalah... my hubby ada benda ni kat neck dia....Kadang-kadang dia kata tak selesa... bila suruh jumpa doktor dia tak nak... bahaya tak doktor?  TQ.

Waalaikumussalam wrbt Zafira.
Ye Zafira; kena check. LN ni bila membengkak tu ada sebabnya..paling lekeh infection; kalau sakit tu, most likely acute infection. Yg tak best nye bila tak sakit... ini lebih sinister. Sy baru nak ward round.. nnt awak upload pix dari internet yg mimic keadaan bengkak che abg awak tu.

Google under Lymph Node Swelling, Lymphadenopathy, Cervical Lymphadenopathy.

tak nak takutkan awak/ hubby, tetapi byk causes of painless LNP (lymphadenopathy) adalah unpleasant diagnoses.
insyaAllah yg hubby Zafira ni, hanyalah local infection aje, ameen

oh on the nape of the neck, ingat kat depan.
Confirm ye kat nape, and not the front?
fluctuant tak? ie mcm ade air gituh dalam tu?

oh yes doc, at the nape of the neck... tang fluctuant tu... tak pasti... sama aje.. .kadang2 dia besar... kadang2 dia kecik....

oh, maybe sebaceous cyst.
ni tentu dah lama agaknya.
lump yg kita tak suka ialah:
keras, tak sakit, slowly membesar

apa apa pun Zafira paksa dia gi spital; kami org laki ada sedikit problem pasal ''minta tolong'' (eg minta tolong doctor etc), kami jarang ngadu..

betul kata doc tu... benda tu mcm dah lama... about 2 years gitu and also suami saya jenis yang takut dgn doktor gamaknya... bila kita sakit sibuk suruh kita jumpa doktor... bila dia sakit, kita suruh dia jumpa..  dia bokbek bokbek  ...  kata mana ada sakit... kadang2 siap gaduh depan doktor lagi... hahahah...

orait doc, terima kasih banyak2... will try to persuade him...

perangai kami ini adalah kerana testosterone kami.
sebab itulah apa yg jadi kat Zafira dgn hubby adalah perkara biasa dikalangan lelaki di mesia ke atau di UK dan di EU atau US etc. saya brdepan dgn couples omputeh yg nmpk macam professional kemain, tapi dok bertekak sebab hubby tak nak diperiksa dan wife paksa, dari couples muda hingga yg tua bangka..sama je omputeh ke africans ke melayu ke
