Dictator Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has just made an announcement to keep CPF interest rate at 2.5% for the Ordinary Account. Only the funds in the Ordinary Account can be withdrawn as a lump sum cash at 65 year old, after meeting the S$166,000 Minimum Sum.
The low interest rate return is the lowest among all pension funds returns in the world, faring worse at less than half of Malaysia's EPF at 5.7% for 2016. The 2.5% rate return also means cheap funds for the country's two sovereign wealth fund companies, GIC and Temasek Holdings, which now do not need to meet higher return obligations like other pension funds.

Pada 24 November 1990, Mahathir menandatangani perjanjian untuk membenar Singapura mengambil-alih tanah Johor seluas 54,000 ekar (216 kilometer persegi) untuk membina empangan di Sungei Linggiu.
Singapura hanya perlu membayar RM320 juta ganti-rugi (for permanent loss of use of the land), premium tanah RM388 juta dan sewa tahunan RM30 untuk setiap 1,000 kaki persegi.
Di bawah perjanjian ini, Singapura juga dibenarkan untuk mengambil air tanpa had dari Malaysia.
54,000 ekar (kesemua sekarang milik Singapura) bersamaan dengan 16 kali ganda saiz Forest City, 88 kali ganda saiz Melaka Gateway dan 7.2 kali ganda saiz Taman Perindustrian Malaysia-China-Kuantan (yang kesemua milik majoriti Malaysia).
Kalau Najib yang bikin perjanjian macam ini dengan Singapura, tentu Mahathir dan gengnya akan meroyan tanpa arah. Sejuta gambar propa akan wujud kononnya Najib jual negara ataupun
Najib hamba Singapura. Tetapi, yang bikin ini ialah Mahathir - bukan Najib.
Siapa sebenarnya yang jual negara? Siapa yang sudah gadaikan tanah negara yang sebesar 216 kilometer persegi kepada negara asing?

Hundreds of Elderly poor queued over 16 hours to get S$20 hongbao from temple

According to Chinese papers Lian He Zao Bao, hundreds of elderly poor queued in the rain for over 16 hours to get a S$20 hongbao from a temple in Balestier Road. An 81 year old elderly woman told reporters that she started queuing at 3pm on Sunday (Dec 31), and the rain started at 5am on New Year Day (Jan 1). The temple only started the hongbao distribution at 7am, along with a cup of milo and some bread for the “visitors”.
The 81-year-old elderly woman who queued from 3pm a day before said:
“I live alone and really need the money, so I came earlier.”
According to the media report, the queue with an estimated 1,000 elderly was more than 500m long at 7am despite the rain.
It is unknown why the temple made the elderly poor queue for the hongbao every year when they could have just distributed them to the numerous ghetto areas with rental housing around Singapore. The temple has earned praises from the government and state media for their “charitable” act.
Singapore elderly is one of the poorest in the GDP-rich society due to the failure of the CPF retirement system. Under Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, CPF withdrawal age has risen from 55 to 65, and CPF withdrawal was restricted with Minimum Sum doubled from S$80,000 to S$166,000. The PM who controls the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Ministry of Finance, diverts the CPF money into multi-billion foreign investments for the country’s two sovereign wealth fund companies, GIC and Temasek Holdings, where he and his wife Ho Ching are Chairman and CEO respectively.

Kerajaan PAP Singapura Yang Dikatakan Kaya Raya Selamba Umumkan Naikkan Kadar GST 9 Peratus
Negara yang menjadi idola DAP dan PH, Singapura buat pengumuman menaikkan kadar GST dari 7 peratus kepada 9 peratus, selamba sahaja Menteri Kewangan Singapura Heng Swee Keat buat pengumuman itu.
Cuba buat pengumuman sama di Malaysia, sudah pasti pemimpin pembangkang dan macai mereka akan dikerahkan serang BN sehabis-sehabisnya.
Kali terakhir Singapura menaikkan kadar GST ialah pada 2007 dengan kenaikan 5 kepada 7 peratus. Negara Temasik perkenalkan GST pada tahun 1994 dengan kadar permulaan 3 peratus dan ia dinaikkan kepada 4 peratus pada 2003 dan 5 peratus pada 2004.
Menurut Swee Keat, kerajaan Singapura perlu menaikkan GST bagi membantu menampung kekurangan perbelanjaan masa depan dalam pelbagai sektor seperti penjagaan kesihatan, keselamatan dan sosial meskipun telah mengambil kira pelbagai usaha termasuk penjimatan dalam mengurusnya.
Di Malaysia, GST diperkenalkan pada April 2015 dan kerajaan beri jaminan kadarnya tidak akan naik. Cukai GST juga dilaksanakan di 160 buah negara. Pemimpin Pakatan Harapan (PH) yang sibuk kritik BN dan berlagak pandai isu GST terlupa agaknya ada ilmuwan yang lebih pandai di negara yang turut sama perkenalkan cukai itu.
Negara yang perkenalkan GST ialah negara-negara maju seperti Jepun, Korea Selatan, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Jerman, Perancis, United Kingdom, Sepanyol, Norway dan Switzerland. Kerajaan mementingkan rakyat dengan memastikan kadar GST 6 peratus di Malaysia lebih rendah dari kadar GST di negara ASEAN lain.
Negara Filipina kadar GST 12 peratus, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam dan Kemboja 10 peratus manakala Thailand dengan 7 peratus.
Di negara berkenaa, kadar GST tidak jadi isu politik kerana ia sudah diketahui rakyat membantu kerajaan menambahkan pendapatan untuk menguruskan negara.
Yang peliknya, penduduk merungut pasal GST, tapi ramai yang berlumba-lumba habiskan duit pergi bercuti di negara yang kadar GSTnya lebih tinggi dari Malaysia

The wife of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Ho Ching, have just lost S$61 million of CPF funds after a Temasek Holdings subsidiary filed for bankruptcy in China. ST Engineering announced on Monday (April 23) that it had written off S$61 million for the bankruptcy of it’s joint venture business, Jiangsu Huatong Kinetics.
JHK is the joint venture between ST Engineering’s land systems arm, Singapore Technologies Kinetics Ltd (ST Kinetics) and China’s state-owned enterprise Jiangsu Huatong Machinery Co., Ltd. The Singapore state-owned company was the major shareholder with a 75.3% shares in JHK.
The CPF Minimum Sum have more than doubled fromS$80,000 in 2003 to S$181,000 this year. Singaporean elderly’s retirement are in a wreckage, with many elderly working in low-paying manual jobs like cleaners for income support.
The CEO of Temasek Holdings is Ho Ching, who have in recent years taking headline news for massive losses in overseas investments.
Seriously Ho Ching ni patut ambil crash course dgn lofake yg walau tak educated tapi mampu jana keuntungan RM200 juta hanya dgn jual tudung. Betul tak cik @CrowneGlory
