There are TONS of ways to do this. One way is to write a poem saying wonderful things about him. An ode, limerick, haiku, or something that tells him you like him, without saying anything about you.
Another way, which I like, is to write it like a conversation. Not really like a conversation, but like, "I love you. Before you say anything hear me out..."
There are a lot of places where you can put it. If you know he's reading a book, find his page he's on and put it in there, so when he reads his book, a note falls out. Put it in his locker. Stuff it in his backpack with some important papers he needs. Put it in an envelope and put it in his mail box. Give it to your friends to give to him. One that I think is funny, is giving it to him yourself and saying some other chick gave it to you to give to him.
There are many others, but they're not easy or fun.
