400,000 LED lights recreate Italy's famous 'Blue Grotto' along Tokyo's Meguro river
Romance is in the night air as couples turn out in force for the illumination of 400,000 blue light-emitting diodes placed on cherry trees that line the banks of the Meguro river in Tokyo’s Meguro Ward.
The “Nakameguro Blue Grotto” illumination event, which stretches 500 meters along the walkways on both sides of the river, drew large crowds, with many couples taking selfies.
The event gets its name from the famous sea cave on the island of Capri, in southern Italy, known as the “Blue Grotto.” The tree branches hang over the river where the lights from the diodes reflect off the water’s surface, creating a fantastical, virtual blue-grotto experience for visitors.
The light show is held between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. near Naka-meguro Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line through Dec. 25.

masa nenek kat sana last week, pagi2 tu kuar ke area tasik, tengok ada bekas2 salji. rasanya salji turun manja2 je gitu
sejuk amats tapi gagah jugak duduk tepi tasik nak tengok sunrise kononnya

nenek pon dok kat k house tu.
tapi tak ambik tour pon dengan dorang.
alhamdulillah masa hari datagn tu dalam train dah dapat tengok mt fuji.
pehtu ronda2 sekitar situ pon dan lepak kat tasik pon dapat tengok.
cuma start jam 3pm tu awan dah tutup.
esok pagi2 tu dah kuar pi tengok. pon dapat tengok puas2.

kittie...saya rase mcm nk ubah ckit ittineary...hari ketiga saya saya nak pergi hakone and ke 4 nak pergi kawaguchiko...tgk post ini..macam nak cancel ke hakone and pergi balik hari kinagawa onsen ..ok tak..kittie.berbaloi tak. and tix dari shinjuku tue boleh beli dari shinjuku yea..and kawasan mnarik dari kinugawa onsen tue walk saja atau kena naik bus ke taxi...
