Today it was announced that actor Matsumoto Jun (26) and actress Nagasawa Masami (22) are going to have a kiss scene in Fuji TV's upcoming 50th anniversary dorama "Wagaya no Rekishi".
The dorama is set during the turbulent middle period of the Showa era and evolves around the seven members of the cheerful Yame family. Matsumoto plays Yoshio the eldest son of the Yame family who falls in love with Yukari (Nagasawa), the child of a good family.
Due to the discrepancy between their families they strongly oppose the marriage plans of the couple, but then even a picture of one of their "prohibited kiss scenes" becomes public and matters get worse. They eventually decide to run away to save their love, but super typhoon Vera is going to thwart their plans. Vera hit Japan on September 26th, 1954 and was the strongest typhoon to hit Japan in recorded history. Looks like fate isn't a fan of their relationship either.
The special anniversary dorama will air on 3 consecutive nights starting on April 9.

Curtain Up for V6 Member Ken Miyake Comedy "ULTRE PURE!"
V6 member Ken Miyake (三宅健) held the first performance of the stage production "ULTRA PURE!" in The Globe Tokyo (東京グローブ座) on March 8th. It's his first time to play a role in a comedy.
Miyake is playing a character that is sometimes naughty but a pure boy in nature. "I think there are some people who have already turned into twenties but totally are inexperienced. I hope my performance would help them to avoid being too shy to enjoy love." said Miyake.
The story is about a thirty-year-old virgin Sawada Shuntaro (Miyake), who is a horseman attending Olympics, goes skiing with his friend, son of a noble family, and girls in the same riding club. However, the hero are trapped in the mountain hut because of the snowslide, with three girls, Saori (Hana Hitsuki), a friend from childhood, sexy Mizuho (Sayaka Isoyama) and princess-like Kozue (Mariko Ookubo) and thoughtless friend Toshiyuki. So there is a chance for Shuntaro to end his virginity but he can barely catch the chance. Whether he succeeds in the end? If yes, who is the lucky girl...? The answer will be revealed in the play.
The production will be on show until March 22nd in Tokyo and from April 9th to 11th in Oosaka. Check out his comedian talent on the stage!
