Ruud And Ramos Back From Injury

Ruud van Nistelrooy and Sergio Ramos are expected to be included in the Real Madrid squad to meet Valencia at the Bernabeu this weekend...

The Dutch forward has been out of action for six weeks and Sergio Ramos has been absent for two Liga games due to suspension, but now both are set to return.

Coach Bernd Schuster - who cited the pair's absence as one of the reasons for his side's Champions League second leg defeat to Roma - will be relieved to recover the two, as will a selection of players.

Wesley Sneijder, Royston Drenthe and Miguel Torres all admitted that they could have used Ruud's input during the 1-0 defeat to Deportivo at the weekend.

Both are training with normality at present and are expected to slot straight back into the line-up in time to face Los Che.

Since Ruud was injured on February 2nd at Almeria, Real Madrid have won seven, drawn one and lost three matches.
