so.. plan tuko..
tak jd ambik caravan @ campervan tu..
kita ambik kater sudah.. dpt ler dlm $300 utk 8 hari.. insuran plak dlm $2000 tp cas kat kad kredit.
tu yg tgh google port motel/bb ke kat wellington yg memurah..
adehhhhh.. |

buatlah plan awal2.. budget pun kena buat.
kalau terlebih tu tak ler lari byk sgt..
still ok..
kena spent duit lebih utk emergency ya kwn2.. |

pasal insurance tu, maybe sebab u xmau amik all inclusive option (0 excess) sebab tu mahal insurans dia.

waoo mahalnya, tapi RM16k termasuk kpl tbng kan. sy dah buat costing utk trip pertama, 4k je. trip kedua pula perlu lbh kurang 6-7k.
trip pertama sy mcm ni. tiada luggae sebab pi srg srg.
naik airasia ke sydney. naik jetstar ke chc. cost lebih kurang RM1700-RM1800.
beli flexipass Intercity bus CHC-Mt Cook-Queenstown-Milford-Queenstown. NZD199. harga ni termasuk cruise di milford.
beli tiket Nakedbus Queenstown ke Tekapo, kemudian Tekapo ke CHC (NZD40).
stay 2 malam di CHC
stay 2 malam di Mt Cook
2 malam di Queenstown
1 malam di Tekapo
Total 7 malam di YHA (atau hostel yg serupa), lbh kurang NZD250
Budget makanan lbh kurang NZD250
total lbh kurang RM3800 utk 8d7n.
trip kedua pula pergi dgn family, naik samada Singapore Airlines atau Qantas dan sewa kereta. so budget pun bnyk sebab tiket pun dah sama harga dgn budget utk solo backpacking 7 malam. tp cost lain dpt dikurangkan dgn berkongsi.

sbb apa mahal sgt..saya rent campervan utk mac apr thn depan..total dlm nzd2500 kut..zero excess n dpt free baby seat, picnic table n chairs, free gps n extra driver at no added cost..ni utk 11 hari.. |

sesuai sangat naik bas kalau sorang atau berdua je, tak perlu sewa kereta
hari tu ...
wao... $1 mmg hebat klu blh dpt. tpi sy tgk even harga biasa pun dah kira murah, contohnya CHC ke Tekapo cuma $20. mungkin sebagai "taster" atau preview trip, sy nak ke tekapo dan mt cook saja, yg queenstown etc tunggu full trip dgn family baru pergi. blh stay lama sikit di dua tempat ni nanti. sebab kalau ke queenstown tapi tak buat apa apa aktiviti pun boring juga.
awak beli tiket masa di NZ atau buat advance booking awal awal lagi sebelum bertolak ke NZ?

Maknanya profession yg dikehendaki di NZ. Nak apply PR under skilled migrant category ni dia pakai point system. Ada beberapa kriteria yg ditetapkan, and each criteria carries certain points. Contoh those yg ada postgrad education, carries 60 points compared to those yg ada just a bachelor degree which will only carry 50 points and diploma only carries 40 points. Work wise, contoh kalau ada experience in skilled employment for 4 yrs carries 15 pts compared to 30 pts for those yg dah ada 10 yrs experience in skilled employment. And those yg berada dalam kategori long term skilled shortage also carries some marks. NZ ada list down the areas yg ada skill shortage e.g qualified chartered accountants, those in education line, agriculture etc. It also specifies what level of qualification you should have in that area. Ada lah a few other criterias mcm where you are graduating from etc yg also carries different marks, your age etc. So those yg apply will be given marks for the specified criterias, and those yg exceeding certain marks saja yg boleh proceed for the next stage. Of course kena compete lah dgn people all over the world for the selection process.
That's why I said for skilled migrant category, the right skill in the right area is important.

Saya belum pernah jumpa lagi yang insurance saja sampai NZD7000 untuk 8 hari untuk motorhome, and I did a very extensive research on all motorhomes.. walau 0 excess sekalipun tak ada yg charge gitu. The likes of Maui, Wilderness and Kea yg terkenal mahal pun tak charge sampai gitu. NZD700 tu memang ada 
Motorhome ni tengok musim harganya. Summer memang harga double, ni memang literally double kalau compare dengan winter or spring. Tapi tak adalah sampai insurance pun NZD7k untuk 8 hari.
Saya pernah ambik Kea 6 berth masa autumn this year, harga sama macam summer. I got it at NZD235 per day, and then I got the platinum cover (that includes full insurance, GPS, picnic items etc etc) at NZD60 per day. So I got it at NZD295 per day... tu dah mahal dah tu. Saya bayar NZD2,950 for 10 days rent. But banyak je lagi other operators yang offer lagi murah dari tu. Kalau winter or spring lagi senang nak dapat murah, it is normally half the price. And book early, ada lagi discount. If airline staff, lagi ada discount.

itu yg bg tau operator diorg nama sarah.
kalau sewa caravan tu hanya nzd300 utk 8 hari n 6 beth.
bila diorg bg tau utk insuran tu.. perghhh mmg kata 'hilang akal apa..?'
mahal nak mampos, n dia cas under kredit kad. gila babeng.
nama company tu tah apa tak ingat.
katanya kena ambik deluxe, tak boleh ambik under budget. insuran tak sama antara budget, deluxe & premium..  |

South Africa mmg dlm senarai aku. Bila nak gi tak tau lg. Europe aku plan nak gi mgkn dlm 2016 psl aku nak stay sana dlm 45 hari. Byk negara nak ronda di Europe tu so alang2 pergi, biar sekali harung. Byk sungguh plan aku nak berjalan ni.  |
