Chelsea Stars Turn On Didier Drogba
The Drog has come under fire from his own team-mates after his outburst in the press earlier this week...
Didier Drogba revealed recently that he was "lonely" at Chelsea, but it looks like his tell-all interview will leave him feeling more isolated than ever before.
According to the Daily Mail, the Ivory Coast striker was yesterday singled out by the rest of the playing squad as the main reason for the Blues' dressing-room unrest.
Luiz Felipe Scolari, the London club's manager, gathered his men in the auditorium at their Cobham training ground for an open, no-holds-barred discussion of their season to date.
Opinions clashed where tactics, training methods and a whole host of other issues were concerned, but the stars of Stamford Bridge were all but united in turning on Drogba.
The 30-year-old had claimed he received no support from the club after the death of his grandmother, which saw him lose interest in football and consider quitting the game.
But one of his team-mates reportedly told the ex-Olympique Marseille man that he was "talking b*******", and recalled that Chelsea organised a private plane to fly him to his homeland after the bereavement.
Furthermore, it is understood that the vast majority of the squad want Drogba, who was heavily linked with a move to Italy during the summer, to be sold immediately. :pompom:
The Pensioners were demanding over €30 million for the hulking targetman in the off-season, but that price could fall considerably if they look to ship him out next month. |

Manchester City Sign Wayne Bridge From Chelsea
Sources in the British media are reporting that a fee has been agreed between Chelsea and Manchester City, clearing the way for the player to move north.
Manchester City have agreed 'an undisclosed fee' for the services of Wayne Bridge, according to Sky Sports News.
