Sebabnya Afghanistan tu takde oil resources macam Iraq, bila takde pulangan yg lebih pada US dia mintak tangan dihulurkan. Kat Iraq dia nak buat camtu? US takkan mintak tolong macam kat Afghanistan selagi Shell, Exxon dan Sonocco yang dengan senang hatinya menyedut minyak kat situ. Dalam erti kata lain secara strategiknya dia hendak monopoli sumber minyak. |

It could be true... as in any warring factions the leader may not condone such acts but the men on the ground sometimes take things into their own hands... if the taliban leadership condones it then it sure is political suicide... pretty dumb move in my opinion...
But the other twist is the boy is promised stuff by the invaders to come out and say stuff to promote the invaders image and blacken the taliban's name... especially since the image of the invading forces have been badly tarnished by the rising number of civillian casualties they've inflicted...
Either way we could never know which version of the story is true... |

It is very bad publicity for the Taliban and i am not surprised its true cos children always gets abused in war.
In this case, I tend to believe the tribe elders because they staked their reputation standing by it when they did not have to. The govt will also not take the risk if it wasn't true. Of course, given the immoral behaviors of the Taliban, the afghans will milk it to the full.
Take note, the invaders are the taliban, not the afghans.
also take note that these are the terrorists the taliban are. They do not deserve your sympathy or support, the afghans do.
