Yup, terpulang pada penggunanya macam mana nak guna kemudahan teknologi tersebut. Sama ada dengan cara yang betol ataupon cara tidak berfaedah.

salah mak bapak...terllalu manjakan anak2 dgn kemewahan ...asal anak mintak suma diberi...tanpa pikir apa sebab musababnya...tak pikir pnjg...


adakah mak bapak skerg takder kualiti sbg ibubapa....mana tanggungjwb mereka...
lantaran sibuk dgn keje? terlalu percayakan anak2?

agreed, I kasi je anak-anak I HP tapi Alhamdulillah so far diorang masih

Teknologi itu memang bagus. Tapi yang tak bagusnya bila ada manusia abuse the technology. Bila dah abuse, macam macam boleh jadi.

So, tepuk dada tanya iman, tanya selera.

saya pasti kalau kita buat spot check pada setiap pelajar sekolah yang ada hand phone, mesti majoriti student nie yang dalam hand phone dia ada picture lucah atau video lucah.
student skarang nie berani bawa hand phone secara sembunyi-sembunyi ke sekolah, bangga ada hand phone mahal-mahal, then tunjuk plak gambar/video lucah kat kekawan .

Kita dulu tak pakai pun HP ke apa ke kat sekolah. Ok je survive sampai sekarang. Perlu sangat ke budak2 pakai henfon? Kalau nak bagi pun, boleh bagi yang basic punya. Tak perlu yang canggih canggih because the objective is to be able to locate your child whereabouts.

P/S: Kecik2 dulu selalu curik2 main Nintendo dalam kelas.

yang salah adalah minda orang yang tak reti nak gunakan teknologi.

zaman aku takde pon henset-menset neh.

kalau ada urgent call pon banyak lagi saluran yang boleh digunakan.

lazimnya student sekolah terutamanya menggunakan henset untuk tujuan jiwang je

Bebudak sekarang ni layeeennnn..dia tengok kawan2nya ada henpon..dia pun nak henpon...orang lain pakai la, senang nak berhubung la.

4 me handset tak ada kena mengena dgn disiplin atau pelajaran anak2
merosot... anak i dari umur 7 tahun lagi dah pakai hp... tak ada apa2 pun...
kita sebagi mak bapak kenalah pandai pantau apa anak2 kita buat... jg aysik
nak salahkan org atau tu ini bila anak2 kita tak disiplin atau pelajaran merosot...

Totally agree with you. I dont see the need budak2 sekolah pakai handphone.

Masa my eldest std 5, she was one of 2 students yg takde hp sendiri in her class. I told her, she'll get a hp if she get 5As in her UPSR. (My friend lagi best, after SPM baru kasi hp kat anak dia)

So bila dia dpt 5A, i kasila hp kat dia, but then dia masuk pulak boarding school. Since kat boarding school tak leh bawak hp, in the end hp to terperap dlm bag i la..... hehe. Dia dpt pakai masa cuti sekolah aje..... hehe... I LIKE.

tu aku tak setuju ler.. pasal aku dulu skolah pakai henpon, cemerlang jek plajaran aku... baik ko cakap akibat ASTRO dan REALITI show yg makin tak berfaedah..

Teachers and students: Where do we go from here?

OF late, not a day has gone by without teachers being mentioned in the news.

When parents send their children to school, they expect them to be taught and nurtured by teachers and possibly pick up good values along the way. The last thing they expect is for their children to be slapped or punched by the very people who are supposed to look after them.

As a teacher, I feel that utmost restraint should be exercised when dealing with schoolchildren. Patience and tolerance are prerequisites. Without these qualities, one can easily succumb to the pressures of the workplace and end up doing harm not only to the students but to his own career as well.

I often hear people say that those who end up as teachers are people who have failed to secure other jobs. I don抰 know about that, but I do know that there are many who choose teaching as their vocation because they feel they can be good if not great teachers.

In the light of recent events, perhaps we should pause to reflect and ask ourselves this question. Where do we go from here? Aside from teachers adhering to ministry guidelines on acceptable forms of punishment, I feel that parents should play a more active role in bringing up their children.

You抎 be surprised how many parents have no inkling whatsoever of what their children are up to when they are at work.

Some children are so good at masking their true selves. Perhaps they are little angels at home but, sometimes, these kids can use foul language and behave very differently at school. In many instances it is the teachers who bear the heavy responsibility of disciplining these kids.

Another thing to look at is the Malaysian education system抯 emphasis on academic excellence. We are trying to produce little professors. But children are not all academically inclined. There are students who find school a bore. And when they are bored or find the lessons difficult to follow, these children may resort to mischief and cause discipline problems at school.

I feel we should make an effort to cater to the needs of such students. Instead of just Science and Arts, there should also be a vocational stream in all schools.

Many of these kids may not be good in their studies but they are good in other things
