dear shehzore, i do know the chechnya issue very well.
The Vostock battallion is made up of Chechens under a tight leash from the Russians and loyal to Putin.
They kill fellow Chechens who fight for independence and had been accused by fellew Chchens of human righst abuses. Earlier this year, they fought with Chechnya presidential troops in a power struggle.

kadyrov joined the russians during the outbreak of second chechen war. in which till today, the status of Chechnya is similar to the U.S. in Iraq & Afghanistan (i wouldnt consider that as a win-Kabul itself has ~40km radius of safe zone, beyond that, even the U.S cant guarantee your safety).
your 閍rlier quote "Russians did beat them, thats why they switched sides to join Russians." is truly misleading, they didnt switched sides because the russian beat them (if russian had beaten them, probably they would conduct another genocide as they'd done before and install a russian governor or somesort). Chechen's presidential troop are also known as ''kadyrovksty", if vostok is 'tight leash and loyal to putin', would they attack the own master's puppet regime? btw, u havent prove anything on 'vostok always in Georgia' statement yet.
