Well lollipop, we WERE discussing the perfectness of the Quran as it is the word from God and cannot have contained any errors.
Here I am to prove that wrong. But I do not make the Quran any less than it is. A book about God.
It is just muslims are so caught up with unimportant details they loose sight of the forest for the trees.
And they use such mundane reasons to prove the uniqueness of the Quran that it is beyond belief.
If you wish to show uniquness in your book, highlight the great philosophies and truth within, not repeat nonsensical reasons parroted seemingly by all muslims on this board.
I have yet to hear some intelligent muslim chatter with the exception of Greeky and angel. |

Well lollipop I am not impressed with that site because there are many other issues involving man made errors in the quran.
Muslims have to at least admit that the transfer of words from man to another man will cause mistakes to appear, transposing errors can happen, human intervention(editing) can happen over a long time.
But you are right about one thing, the truth contain within will seldom change.
That is how I also believe in the words that Jesus spoke about. |

Looks like you have to brush up your arabic AND your english my fren. :cak:
Told you..if you can tell me the verse the words belong to then we will talk..ok?
and before you start calling ppl "loser" or anything else..you better show that you have a little knowledge on what you are talking about...not just paste from some site that supports your views.
until you can prove the words belong to the verses in the Quran..i think this discussion is going nowhere..
until then.

The Quran is a miracle indeed. Had God not protect the Quran, such a book would surerly be full of errors (on the scientific matters, future predictions and various subjects touched upon in the Quran). The way that the Quran is preserved for more than 1400 years is beyond what we accept as logical, as argued by nightlord. But indeed the quran is preserved well since the time of revelation (as promised by Allah) and the burden of proof of error is still there on the disbelievers even though the quran has been revealed for 1400 years!
How the Quran was preserved
Besides the preservation, the content of the Quran is a miracle. As a muslim who reads the Quran regularly, I never failed to be amaze by the beauty in its language and content.

we've already discuss how quran has been preserved in previous pages.
But I just want to know if they has any logical xplanation on how Quran has been preserved from 1400 years ago until know?
If they hardly agreed on the way the Quran exist as single mushaf, at least from the first mushaf up to date, we still have the same text in Arabic. Anyone can xplain on how it preserve-logically? |
