Fenerbahce striker Mateja Kezman has mocked Avram Grant's Chelsea ahead of their Champions League quarterfinal clash.
"The matches will bring back some special memories for me for the year that I spent at Chelsea," said Kezman. "That era is in the past now. I just want to get to the next round.
"I could have achieved more with the Blues but nobody can doubt that I gave my all while I was there. I was always professional although the coach did not show the complete confidence in me that I needed.
"Chelsea are favourites, nobody can doubt that, but Sevilla were favourites and we beat them.
"Right now Chelsea are not the super-team of previous years, but for them the Champions League is their main aim.
"We want to get to London still alive in the tie and that means not conceding. Even a 0-0 at home could be positive.
"Anelka and Drogba are dangerous but so were Kanoute and Luis Fabiano for Sevilla and we came through that test." |
