EXILE Celebrates Its Ten-Year Anniversary By Releasing A Single For Two Months In A Row!
A popular Japanese dance and vocal group, EXILE, will be celebrating its 10 year anniversary in September.
To celebrate its anniversary, EXILE will be releasing a single for two months in a row!
The first single 「もっと強く」(Be Stronger) will be realsed on September 15. It is the theme song for the movie 「THE LAST MESSAEGE 海猿 (Sea Monkey)」and will be another vallet song following 「ただ・・・逢いたくて」(November 2005), 「Ti Amo」(September 2008) and 「ふたつの唇」(November 2009).
Now, the details for the other single will be announced later.
Oguri Shun and Arashi members talk about their fetishes
Oguri Shun was a guest on Arashi’s variety show “Arashi ni shiyagare”, which was broadcasted on the 24th.  Shun has co-stared with some of the members and is also good friends with Matsumoto Jun.

Upcoming movie “Raiou/雷桜” which Okada Masaki and Aoi Yu star in, will be released on October 22nd. ”Raiou” is originally a popular novel by Ueza Mari, which sold 170,000 copies in Japan.
It’s a sad love story between a Shogun and a humble girl. Okada Masaki plays the Shogun who grew up without love and Aoi Yu plays a wild yet humble girl who grew up in a mountain village.
SMAP released their new album “We are SMAP!” on the 21st and it sold 180,000 copies during the first week!  And of course, it took the No. 1 spot on the Oricon weekly album chart. (August 2nd)
This is the 11th time for SMAP’s albums to get No.1 on Oricon Chart, and now 5 times in a row.
As for the Oricon weekly singles chart, “Kokoro no Hane” by Team Dragon from AKB48 is at No.1.

TOKYO (NQN) - Southern All Stars vocalist Keisuke Kuwata has been diagnosed with early-stage esophagus cancer, his agent, Amuse Inc. (4301), said Wednesday.

The diagnosis forced the 54-year-old singer to postpone the release of his solo album scheduled for October, as he will be undergoing treatment. A nationwide concert tour to promote the album, also slated to begin in October, will be cancelled.
Kuwata will release a new single as previously planned.
Amuse said it will disclose any impact the developments have on its earnings.

Popular TV idol becky, who is currently on her "becky FIRST LIVE TOUR 2010 'Kokoro no Mori'" will be holding a live performance on the ship set in the Keihin Park in Tokyo. The event is held in celebration if the release of the Japanese version of the American animation movie "How To Train Your Dragon", to which Becky will be contributing her latest single "Emerald".
The theme of the movie is Friendship, Courage and Magic. When asked what had been magic to her lately, Becky answered with a bright smile "It was when I ate the cheese hot dog at the Yamagata airport! Magic is something individual for each person."
The talent also knew about Kuwata Keisuke of Southern All Stars, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer and said encouraging: "I pray for him to recover. But I think it will be OK because it is Kuwata after all."
Kuwata was scheduled to release a solo album in October, which has now been postponed in favor of surgery in August. The tour lasting until the end of the year has been canceled and over all will he be pausing any kind of musical activities within this year.
