SNSD wins their 2nd Music Bank K-Chart with Run Devil Run
Music Bank might have been canceled in the last fortnight due to the naval ship tragedy but scores were still tabulated for their weekly charts.
It was revealed just last week that SNSD had won the K-Chart on April 2nd for Run Devil Run.
And it was another joyful day for fans of SNSD today after it was announced on the 12th that SNSD had won their second consecutive K-Chart for the April 9th episode as well. Their total of 13,524 pts was enough for the girls to secure top spot once again against BEAST (9,348 pts) and 2AM (7,029 pts).
This was SNSD’s second win for their new song, Run Devil Run on Music Bank and their 7th K-Chart win in 2010, following 5 straight wins for their previous single, Oh!.
The girls have also secured a triple crown for Oh! on Inkigayo and are well on course for another triple crown for Run Devil Run as well, after winning last Sunday. Looks like the girls are enjoying another successful year like 2009.
With Music Bank resuming broadcast finally this week, can SNSD secure a third win? Stay tuned on April 16th although they will probably be missing the show due to their Shanghai concert on the 17th.

ADwaple is reporting that 2PM and SNSD / Girls’ Generation are currently in negotiations with Everland Resorts to do a commercial together for Carribean Bay Water Park. Here’s the full rundown courtesy of jennying♥@2ONEDAY.COM:
This year Everland has appointed idol groups SNSD and 2PM as their models for Carribean Bay. The respective companies are currently processing the contract deals, and it has been decided that Yoona and Taecyeon will be the core members of the CF . An associate of Everland stated “The targets of the water park are families and the younger generation”, “We will use our big models to promote and fulfill the younger generation’s trendy preferences.”
It has been planned that once the contracts are finalized, they will start to shoot the CF. This advertisement will be for the opening of Carribean Bay, which will be made public at the beginning of May.
I remember fans were jealous when TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki paired up with SNSD / Girls’ Generation for Samsung Anycall Haptic and it’ll probably be the case here *bad memory ni* . Yoona and Taecyeon are together a lot, it’s going to be interesting to see the interactions between the two groups.
