On Jule 28th, girl-rock-band SCANDAL will be releasing their new single. For the three-piece, the song titled "Namida no Regret" will be the first ballad released as a single and describes the sweet experience, as much as the pain and the sadness of adolescence.
On top of that, the girls' new album "TEMPTATION BOX" is also scheduled for release on August 11th. It has been ten months since their last album release and until now, it has only been revealed that there will be a regular edition and two limited editions, whereas one will include a photo booklet and the other will include a DVD. More information on the contents and the recorded songs will be released in the following days.
Moreover, as SCANDAL has by gained a lot of popularity, they will also be founding their official fan club, which will be opened on August 21st, also marking the day of the formation of the band.
Ichihara Hayato receives Popular Actor Award at Shanghai International Film Festival
Actor Ichihara Hayato won the most popular actor award at Shanghai International Film Festival on July 19th.
All tickets for this movie sold out in 30 minutes at the Shanghai International Film festival.
Hayato’s movie “Saru Lock THE MOVIE” was shown on July 14th, and Hayato appeared at the theater to greet guests. All viewers were blown away by the movie.
KAT-TUN's fifth album, "NO MORE PAIN," took the top spot on the sales charts this week after moving 154,000 copies. They now have five consecutive #1 albums beginning with their debut.
mihimaru GT's new best album got them to #4, with Miho Fukuhara one spot behind them. Rock band locofrank managed to reach #8, barely edging out FLOW's latest album.
On the single sales ranking, TOKIO's "Haruka" was #1, selling 49,000 copies. This is their first time atop either sales chart since December 2007.
Sound Horizon ranked #2, followed by Toshinobu Kubota. Dragon Ash, GIRL NEXT DOOR, and ayabie also made the top ten, taking the #8 through #10 spots in that order.

Popular singer, Otsuka Ai and member of RIP SLYME, SU, have announced that they got married on their official sites.
The couple met through their collaboration of “aisu×time” in Ai’s album “LOVE is BEST“, and started dating on December 25th, 2009.  They didn’t have their wedding yet, but they already submitted their marriage registration on the 25th.
