FELDAalso provides various educational facilities in skill training to helpthe settler children with Malaysian Education Certificates furthertheir education in vocational field. Up to 2005, 5,295 traineess thatin 803 in Trolak Training Centre, 72 in Utama Technological Institute(ITU) Kelana Jaya, 3,937 in private colleges and 483 in Lim Kok WingCollege attended the vocational courses.
Thetraining was provided with the purpose to increase the students' skilland knowledge so that they are more marketable or to go for higherlearning.
