The UK is currently deciding whether to alter the immigration rules regarding 11 countries.

Visitors from these countries are currently exempt from applying for a UK visa before visiting the country, but could soon be part of the program of more than 100 countries whose nationals are required to apply for visas.

The United Kingdom has finished a review of all non-European Union countries based on factors such as risk of illegal immigration, crime, and security. The test found a "strong case" for implementing visa regimes for Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Lesotho, Malaysia, Mauritius, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela.

The criteria for the Visa Waiver Test included looking at passport security and integrity, the level of cooperation in dealing with deportations of a country's nationals from the UK, the number of illegal workers in the UK and other "immigration abuse", and levels of crime and terrorism risk posed to the UK. The extent to which a country's authorities were addressing these threats was also a factor in the test.

The Home Office will give them until the end of the year to prove they have increased security in measures such as passport security, crime and tourism and cooperation in deportations from the UK, reports the Press Association. Mr Byrne told the news organisation: "Three-quarters of the world's population need to pass a visa check to come to Britain. We cannot and will not shy away from going wider and will wherever we think there's a risk to the UK."

saya baru belik ahad lepas 17hb, seminggu kat sana.....x perlu visa lagi. masuk guna passport, x de tanya apa2 pun.....

dah selamat pi dan balik...kat imigresen tak sampai 15 minit... x bukak beg pun, tanya gitu2 je...masa tgh tunggu luggage, serempak dengan CEO media prima dgn pengacara majalah 3 dgn 1 group...sama2 tunggu beg..

Baru balik bercuti ..imigresen tersangat sekejap...yg lama adalah queue sbb ramai pelancong nak ke UK ..dua soalan simple yg ditanya ie datang buat ape dan datang dgn sape.

rasa mcm tak best klu asyik btembung dgn melayu kat UK.       sbb tu aku tak mo jenguk Msian Hall....

semasa di airport Heathrow untuk balik KLIA, terperanjat dgn sekuriti di sana...walaupun strict tapi suasana mesra...berbeza dgn airport Stanstedt....stern semacam....itu my observation la ...mungkin sbb first time pegi sana.

apa x nye, dah duduk kat malaysian hall...mmg la bertembung......malaysian hall je paling murah 28 pound...lain2 >50 pound..mana nak cekup duit dok lama2.....

Aku pi jln2 kat london bridge is falling down etc...jumpa gak tourist melayu..sesat, tanya macam mana nak pegi sini dan sini dan sini...mcm la aku ni lama kat london tuh.....sama2 sesat la jawabnya......

kita pun kat stansted...security dia x strict la kat aku......sbb aku ada strategy heheh.....bila lalu security check, dan alarm bunyi...ha!!! siap, dia interview nko mcm2.....aku dok perati, org yang lalu tu...padahal dia dah letak semua barang dia kat dlm bekas x ray machine tuh..tapi masih bunyi.....

so, turn aku..aku letak semua barang2 besi lalu kat x ray machine tu....semua - jaket, kasut, beg duit, duit syiling dan jgn tak tahu...kat tali pinggang tu ada besi...letak jugak....dan bila lalu security check tuh, alarm x bunyik...jadik, tak de check apa2 pun.....senang je.....

memang dah buat macam tu...saya tak ada masalah masa di Stansted....tapi diperhatikan memang stern giler petugas kat situ...berbeza dgn Heathrow...mesra gitu.

aku ni.. ader masalah..aku nak pg london n apply for working holiday visa..aku dah kahwin.. cuma takder anak la.. n laki aku pun bagi aku pergi sane for 2years la.. beside kakak aku pun ader kat london.. tapi masalahnyer aku nak tau jugak.. berapa saving kena ader dalam bank.. pasalnyer member aku cakap.. uk embassy nak check kita punyer bank statement sebelum bagi visa.. saving aku pun tak seberapa.. plan nak pg june next year.. saper nak joint?.. heeheheh.. tolong aku..
