I thank you, O Lord,
for your eye is awake and watches over my soul.
You rescue me from the jealousy of liars,
from the congregation of those who seek the smooth way.
But you save the soul of the poor
whom they planned to destroy
by spilling the blood of your servant.
I walked because of you - but they didn't know this.
They laughed at me. They shamed me
with lies from their mouth.
But you helped the soul of the poor and the weak,
you saved me from their harsh arms,
you redeemed me amid their taunts.
From the wicked I do not fear destruction.
Psalm 5.
They made my life a ship on the deep sea,
like a fortified city circled by aggressors.
I hurt like a woman in labor bearing her first child,
whose belly pangs torture her in the crucible.
Pains of Hell
for a son come on the waves of death.
She labors to bear a man,
and among the waves of death she gives birth to a manchild,
with pains of Hell.
He springs from the crucible,
O wondrous counselor with power :
Yes, a man emerges from the waves..
But she who carries dead seed in her womb
suffers waves from a pit of horror.
The foundations of the wall will rock
like a ship on the face of the waters.
Clouds will bellow.
Those who dwell in the dust, like those on the sea,
are terrified by the roar of the waters.
All those wise men are like mariners on the deep:
their wisdom confounded by the roaring seas.
The abyss boils over the fountains of water.
The seas rage.
Hell opens, and arrows fly toward Heaven.
Their eternal bars are bolted.
Psalm 8.
I thank you, O Lord.
You illumined my face by your covenant.
I seek you,
As sure as the dawn you appear as perfect light.
Teachers of lies have comforted your people
and now they stumble, foolishly.
They abhor themselves
and do not esteem me through whom your wonders
and powers are manifest.
They have banished me from my land like a bird
from its nest, and my friends
and neighbors are driven from me.
They think me a broken pot.
They preach lies. They are dissembling prophets.
They devise baseness against me,
exchanging your teaching, written in my heart,
for smooth words.
They deny knowledge to the thirsty
and force them to drink vinegar to cover up error.
They stumble through mad feasts,
but you, God, spurn the schemes of Belial.
Your wisdom prevails.
Your hearts meditation prevails, established forever.
Psalm 23.
Your holy spirit
illuminates the dark places of the heart
of your servant,
with light like the sun.
I look to the covenants made by men,
worthless.
Only your truth shines,
and those who love it are wise
and walk in the glow
of your light.
From darkness you raise hearts.
Let light shine on your servant.
Your light is everlasting.

Mazmur (Psalm) 4.
(1) ANSWER ME when I call, O God of my righteousness (uprightness, justice, and right standing with You)! You have freed me when I was hemmed in and enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me and hear my prayer.
(2) O you sons of men, how long will you turn my honor and glory into shame? How long will you love vanity and futility and seek after lies? Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
(3) But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself [and given distinction to] him who is godly [the man of loving-kindness]. The Lord listens and heeds when I call to Him.
(4) Be angry [or stand in awe] and sin not; commune with your own hearts upon your beds and be silent (sorry for the things you say in your hearts). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
(5) Offer just and right sacrifices; trust (lean on and be confident) in the Lord.
(6) Many say, Oh, that we might see some good! Lift up the light of Your countenance upon us, O Lord.
(7) You have put more joy and rejoicing in my heart than [they know] when their wheat and new wine have yielded abundantly.
(8) In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust.
Mazmur (Psalm) 5.
(1) LISTEN TO my words, O Lord, give heed to my sighing and groaning.
(2) Hear the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You do I pray.
(3) In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare [a prayer, a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart].
(4) For You are not a God Who takes pleasure in wickedness; neither will the evil [man] so much as dwell [temporarily] with You.
(5) Boasters can have no standing in Your sight; You abhor all evildoers.
(6) You will destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors [and rejects] the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
(7) But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and mercy; I will worship toward and at Your holy temple in reverent fear and awe of You.
(8) Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way level (straight and right) before my face.
(9) For there is nothing trustworthy or steadfast or truthful in their talk; their heart is destruction [or a destructive chasm, a yawning gulf]; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter and make smooth with their tongue.
(10) Hold them guilty, O God; let them fall by their own designs and counsels; cast them out because of the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against You.
(11) But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.
(12) For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).
Mazmur (Psalm) 8.
(1) O LORD, our Lord, how excellent (majestic and glorious) is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory on [or above] the heavens.
(2) Out of the mouths of babes and unweaned infants You have established strength because of Your foes, that You might silence the enemy and the avenger.
(3) When I view and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained and established,
(4) What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him?
(5) Yet You have made him but a little lower than God [or heavenly beings], and You have crowned him with glory and honor.
(6) You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet:
(7) All sheep and oxen, yes, and the beasts of the field,
(8) The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
(9) O Lord, our Lord, how excellent (majestic and glorious) is Your name in all the earth!
Mazmur (Psalm) 23.
(1) THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.
(2) He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.
(3) He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him--not for my earning it, but] for His name's sake.
(4) Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
(5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.
(6) Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

The text is written in the Late Hebrew Script, but the name of God, [size=+1]יהוה Yahweh, is always written in the Middle Hebrew script (see the bottom of the "alphabet" image at the top of the page).
In many instances the letter "vav" as found the Dead Sea Scrolls is removed by the Masorites and replaced with the "cholam" nikkud (vowel pointing). For instance, the Dead Sea Scroll has [size=+1]אלוהים elowhiym the Masoretic text has [size=+1]אלהים elohiym.
In some instances the letter "yud" as found in the Dead Sea Scrolls is removed by the Masorites and replaced with the "chireq" nikkud (vowel pointing). For instance, the Dead Sea Scroll has [size=+1]דויד daviyd the Masoretic text has [size=+1]דוד david.
The suffix [size=+1]ך with the "qamats" nikkud following it (pronounced 'ka') represents the possessive pronoun "your" in the Masoretic text. In the Dead Sea Scrolls this possessive pronoun is written as [size=+1]כה kah.
The suffix [size=+1]ת with the "qamats" nikkud following it (pronounced 'ta') represents the pronoun "you" in the Masoretic text. In the Dead Sea Scrolls this pronoun is written as[size=+1]תה tah.
Besides the grammatical differences there are only three differences in the Psalm. The name Yahweh appears twice in verse one in the Dead Sea Scrolls but is absent in the Masoretic text. In verse seven the Masoretic text has the word [size=+1]קרב qerev meaning "among" while the Dead Sea Scrolls has the word [size=+1]תוך tavek meaning "middle" or "midst.
kalau kita lihat psalm 22:16.

Last edited by nobito on 3-4-2013 04:50 PM
kejadian 17:3 Lalu sujudlah a Abram, dan Allah berfirman kepadanya:
Katakanlah: “Ta’atilah Allah dan Rasul-Nya; Jika kamu berpaling, maka sesungguhnya Allah tidak menyukai orang-orang kafir”. (QS. 3:32)
(QS. 2:147)
tiada daya dan upaya kecuali atas pertolonganNYA
tiada ketaatan kecuali ketaatan kepadaNYA
