Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed fresh speculation over his future by declaring he will stay with Manchester United.

After scoring in normal time of last night's Champions League glory night, but then missing in the shootout, Ronaldo took a minute away from celebrations to declare: "No, no, no. I'm going to stay."
The Portuguese wonder added: "It means everything to me because we won both trophies, the Champions League and the League, so I feel very happy. It is one of the most happy days of my life. I feel very, very proud." |

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson briefly offered his thoughts to Sky Sports after his side's penalty shoot-out win over Chelsea.
When asked if this was as dramatic as the famous 1999 Champions League final, he said, "Absolutely - it's the way we do it! But that's the first shootout I've ever won in a big game.
"When we missed the (Ronaldo) penalty kick, yeah, you think you're in trouble, but I think we deserve it, we had the best chances in the match.
"In the second half they had a lot of control, but in extra time we got a bit better.
"And it's a great team, a fantastic team. And I thought it was a good game.
"Is this my best team ever? Yes!" |

Van Der Sar: That Save Was No Guess
Manchester United stopper Edwin Van der Sar reflected on the highs and lows after his side's Champions League final win...
Van der Sar made the crucial save from an Anelka spot-kick to seal a 6t-5 shoot-out win for his side over Chelsea.
When asked if he guessed to save the last penalty, he said, "I think I knew it!"
Having both won and lost CL before, Edwin has a unique perspective.
"This is the best day, I can tell you.
"I won it thirteen years ago, I lost it twelve years ago - the two highs and lows - to win it now after such an amount of times with these players, this crowd and everything, it's just..."
Van der Sar, 37, won the Champions League with Ajax in 1995.
