WaT's 2010 comeback!
After almost 2 years without releasing music together the guys of WaT (Wentz And Teppei) are making their comeback!
Today 2 new singles were announced on their homepage
New Release: 12th Single
"Kimi ga Boku ni Kiss wo Shita" (君が僕にKissをした; The Kiss You Gave Me)
Release date: July 28th, 2010
For 12th single 3 editions has been announced: Regular CD Only, CD+DVD (PV), CD+DVD (Documentary).
New Release: 13th Single
"24/7 ~Mou Ichido~" (24/7～もう一度～; 24/7 ~Once Again~)
Release date: September 8th, 2010
WaT's last release was the single "36ºC" back in 2008, it sold about 40,000 copies and ranked #5 on Oricon Charts.
During this hiatus Teppei Koike worked on his solo career releasing 1 single and 1 album as well as acting in some doramas and movies.
In the other hand, Eiji Wentz is regularly seen on TV variety shows and acting in TV doramas and stage plays.

the GazettE - Far From Silent Until Their New Release
With the announcement of a new single and the upcoming tour, fans all around the world are certainly getting excited for all new concerning the GazettE! It has been rather quiet this year until now, and until the middle of it there will be no more than the fan club tour.
This might be the reason, why Manager Sakai's blog is really popular among the fans - after all he keeps people updated on what the members of the GazettE are up to. Recording, exercising, instrument purchase - it is all covered right there! Let's have a look at a small episode.
"A little Story:
It was the day, when I went shopping with Raita-kun.
Sakai "Let's use that escalator!!!"
Reita "Yeah"
So the two of us would get on the escalator with Reita standing in the middle of it.
Sakai "Raita-kun, please move over to the left side."
Reita "No, I won't!!"
Sakai "In Tokyo people have to stand on the left side, while in Osaka it is the other way round, with people standing on the right!!"
Reita "However, after all it's me, Reita!!!! I have to stand in the middle of the escalator and you can sure find that written in the escalator manual!!"
Sakai "Hu?!! What are you saying? What's that supposed to be? The escalator manual?"
Reita "Well, write about it in your blog and ask who of us is wrong in the case!!"
And in the end Reita stood in the middle of the escalator for the whole time.
Was I wrong in the end?"
With happenings like that, Sakai-san certainly shows the very unique personality of the band members and keeps the fans entertained! The HIATUS Second Album
Rock band the HIATUS will release their second, currently untitled album on June 30th.
Despite being a relatively new rock band, the HIATUS have established themselves a solid fanbase due to their affiliation with several notable rock musicians including Hosomi Takeshi (ex.ELLEGARDEN) and members from other bands including Thee Michelle Gun Elephant, Radio Caroline and FULLSCRATCH. The album will follow in the footsteps of the band's previously released album Trash We'd Love which was unveiled in May 2009. Trash We'd Love peaked at #1 on the Oricon and was shortly followed by a 21 date tour which completely sold out due to heightened popularity from eager rock music fans.
The album will be issued in CD format and the band have also revealed that the upcoming album (and their debut album) will also be made available in limited edition LPs. Further details of the album are expected to be updated via the HIATUS' official website in the coming weeks. Following the release of the album, the HIATUS will embark on a national tour from July to October which will consist of 35 performances. The tour, simply entitled "TOUR 2010", will begin on July 2nd at Chiba LOOK and conclude on October 5th at Hiroshima CLUB QUATTRO.

the brilliant green loses guitarist
the brilliant green announced on their official website on Monday that guitarist Ryo Matsui (38) has left the group. He did not reveal the reasons for his departure.
The band formed in 1995 and made their major label debut two years later. In 1998, they achieved their first #1 single with "There Will Be Love There -Ai no Aru Basho-." The band was on hiatus for several years due to the solo projects of vocalist Tomoko Kawase (35), but they resumed activities in 2007. Around the end of last year, they changed record labels to Warner Music Japan.
Kawase and bassist Shunsaku Okuda (38) plan to continue as a duo for now.

the GazettE Budokan Tickets Available for Overseas Fans!
the GazettE have just finished their fan club tour "the GazettE STANDING LIVE TOUR 10 THE END OF STILLNESS", as they will be heading on to their next, running all through the second half of the year 2010.
It has been announced previously that the tickets for their "TOUR10 NAMELESS LIBERTY SIX BULLETS 01" will be available for overseas fans as well and the sales will be starting on May 12th. This also includes the very first two days at Nippon Budokan!
All other scheduled lives from the Nagano performance onwards will be available, too, making it a great opportunity to do some sightseeing outside of Tokyo as well!

Kimutaku's Tsuki no Koibito ~ Moon Lovers~ Reach 22.4% Ratings
From the popular idol group SMAP, Kimura Takuya's new Fuji Television Getsu9 drama, Tsuki no Koibito ~ Moon Lovers (9:00 p.m. ~ 10:09 p.m.) aired its first episode on the 10th. According to initial reports from video research, the average ratings reached 22.4% in the Kanto area. In Kansai the ratings were at 20.2%, while Nagoya was at 23.6%. At the highest, it peaked at 24.5% in the Kanto area.
Of the drama serials that are airing this spring, it surpassed ratings from Abe Hiroshi's detective drama, Shinzanmono (TBS), which originally had the highest ratings at 21.0%.
In Moon Lovers, Kimura plays the boss of an interior design company who becomes entangled in a love story. Appearing with him are Taiwanese actress Lin Chi-ling from the movie Red Cliff, Shinohara Ryoko, who plays the role of an interior designer in the drama, and Kitagawa Keiko, who plays a model coming from a wealthy family. The drama will develop many storylines revolving around the characters.
Following the drama, Fuji TV also aired the variety show SMAP X SMAP (10:09 p.m. ~ 11:09 p.m.). The live broadcast featured all three actresses and attracted average ratings of 20.4%, which ended the night on a high note.
