Liverpool crushed Blackburn 4-0 with a superb display of attacking football in their Premier League encounter at Anfield.
A first-half brace from Fernando Torres put the hosts firmly in control against an outclassed Blackburn outfit before late strikes from Daniel Agger and David N'Gog gave the home side an overwhelming victory.
Blackburn put in plenty of effort throughout, but were totally outplayed by a home side who demonstrated top-quality passing and movement - even if they missed a host of chances which should have seen them bury their visitors before half-time. |
