Safety is the top priority of our administration and we are dedicated to enhance workplace safety for all Malaysian employees. This safety and health seminar is held as a platform to help promote a safe working environment and eliminate personal injuries and illnesses from occurring in the workplace. We have been introduced to the possibility of new hazards within the workplace. We must now, move hand in hand and regard safety in the workplace as shared responsibility, requiring us all to do our part. We must use our own good common sense and realize that there in no one-size-fits-all approach to workplace safety. This two-days seminar will enlighten participants on how to manage and deal with safety challenges at the workplace. Northern Region Group (NRG) in collaboration with Malaysian Association of Occupational Safety and Health Officer (MASHO) together with National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) is jointly organizing this Seminar. PUTRAJAYA: Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (JBPM) menjelaskan, nombor panggilan kecemasan 999 hanya untuk kegunaan di Lembah Klang manakala 994 masih digunakan di seluruh negara termasuk Sabah Sarawak.

Ketua Pengarahnya, Datuk Hamzah Abu Bakar, berkata ini berikutan wujud kekeliruan di kalangan orang awam termasuk mangsa yang ingin menyalurkan maklumat.

Katanya, 25 pusat panggilan di seluruh negara akan terbabit dalam projek perkhidmatan panggilan kecemasan 999 (MERS 999).

"Projek ini dilaksanakan mengikut fasa dan sebagai permulaan tiga pusat penerimaan panggilan yang dilengkapi sistem teknologi terkini diwujudkan di Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam serta Putrajaya," katanya pada sidanng media di sini, semalam.

"Pusat ini turut berupaya menapis panggilan main-main dan mengesan lokasi kejadian dengan tepat melalui sistem pemetaan yang diperoleh selepas dimaklumkan orang awam," katanya

Beliau berkata demikian pada sidang media selepas Majlis Perbarisan Tahunan 2009 JBPM dan Majlis Menandatangani Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) dengan Institut Integriti Malaysia (IIM), di Ibu Pejabat JBPM Putrajaya, di sini, semalam.

Harap JBPM dan agensi berkenaan cepatkan benda nih. KIta sebagai safety officer nak kena bagitau employee nombor2 kecemasan. Tips dari saya, sila hapal no balai bomba, polis dan hospital yang terdekat kalau masalah 999 belum setel.

tp kalo hardcopy adalah..nanti aku belek2 jap...

mmm..construction byk lah weh ko leh buat..aku punya logistic so berbeza...ko nak jugak ke...huhu
