Hiya folks, hi dex
Anybody here knows how much does it cost(fee and cost of living) to pursue postgraduate degree (masters degree) in US? I am thinking of going to states to continue my masters degree.....And, I am considering these states-Alaska, New England, Colorado, Virginia, Nebraska, South & North Dakota.

(one of my good friends took her masters
in U of Colorado - i will find out from her
if i can get hold on her(
in the meantime i am sure some of the forum members

Hi lukman44,
My friend was in Nebraska. She did her masters degree in 2 years then she pursued her PhD at the same university. As she told me, cost of living in Nebraska was not too bad. I suggest you Mid-west too. I have been in Michigan for several years. I had a wonderful time and I missed my life so much.

well - nowadays in school - whereby there're chinese in there -
lots of time they will add 'mah ' -- easy, mah!! -- i think to speak
proper english we should try to advise the students to avoid using
'lah' or 'mah' in their everyday conversation - |

Haven't visited this thread for quite a while and it is nice to see how enthusiastic everybody is in improving their english. learning a new language is never an easy thing to do, but what joy once you conquer it.
