memang lah, tapi kebanyakan penyokong harap akan ada berita baik bila saat akhir transfer window mcm thn lps..

DALGLISH semakin yakin dengan kemampuan Liverpool untuk mengharungi saingan Liga Perdana England musim ini.

ANFIELD - Pengurus Liverpool, Kenny Dalglish semakin yakin dengan kemampuan pasukan itu untuk menemui semula sentuhan sebenar setelah bermula hambar awal musim ini.

Selepas mara ke final Piala Liga dan pusingan kelima Piala FA, kedua-duanya setelah menundukkan dua seteru utama, Manchester City serta Manchester United, Dalglish kini mahu para pemain menumpukan sepenuh perhatian bagi memberikan saingan dalam kempen Liga Perdana England.

"Kamu (pemain) telah membuktikan bahawa kamu cukup hebat dalam saingan Piala Liga dan Piala FA, kini kamu perlu fokus dalam saingan liga," katanya.

Sebelum ini, skuad The Reds sering kali keciciran mata penting ketika berdepan pasukan yang kurang kuat seperti Swansea City, Norwich City, Blackburn Rovers dan Wigan Athletic.

Bagaimanapun, Dalglish tetap yakin pasukan itu masih memiliki kualiti untuk muncul antara empat pencabar utama dalam saingan Liga Perdana England.

"Saya telah katakan sebelum ini, kami masih mempunyai 16 lagi perlawanan liga untuk diharungi.

"Memang ia satu perasaan yang mengujakan apabila dapat kembali ke Stadium Wembley tetapi jika kami gagal muncul antara pasukan utama dalam liga pun tiada gunanya.

"Setakat ini, saya rasa kami telah memberikan aksi yang begitu menakjubkan dalam saingan merebut piala, jadi tidak mustahil kami masih boleh memberikan cabaran dalam saingan liga," katanya.

Jelas Dalglish, pasukannya masih memerlukan masa untuk benar-benar bangkit selepas bermula hambar sebelum ini.

"Persefahaman antara pemain juga masih berada dalam proses, tambahan pula kami memiliki tujuh pemain baharu.

"Apapun, saya masih yakin dengan kemampuan Liverpool," katanya. - Agensi

Not forced into a save of note as kept probably the easiest clean sheet of his career - little else to say on the Liverpool keeper.

Probably the most attacking full-back in the Premier League and was awarded all the room he wanted as he constantly overlapped Kuyt to provide his side an attacking option.

A real familiarity with Bellamy on the left-hand side although this was not one of his best performances.

Nearly scored in the first half and was rarely tested defensively with Steven Fletcher the lone man upfront for the majority.

Martin Skrtel 6.5
An interesting contest with Fletcher as they grappled throughout for the long balls and few get the better of the Slovakian defender.

Jordan Henderson 7.0
Tidy in possession as he linked the play with the midfield to the forward men. Always had time on the ball and will be happy with his performance.

Jay Spearing 7.0
The anchor in the Liverpool midfield as Gerrard was rested and put in a real shift allowing Adam and Henderson to push forward. A more than adequate replacement for the injured Lucas.

Charlie Adam 7.5
An assist for the second goal and was the best crosser of the ball as he looked to find Carroll. The Scot has not been at his best in recent weeks but oozed class tonight.

Andy Carroll Top of the Match 8.0

Celebrated a year at the club with arguably his best performance. He won countless headers and gave away possession very rarely as he chested the ball and played it to a midfielder. His goal capped off a fine evening for the much-criticised target-man.

Dirk Kuyt 6.5
The Dutchman was on a barren run in front of goal in the league and will be delighted to see it end. You can never fault his workrate but he does not look effective in the winger position

Craig Bellamy 7.5
Bellamy is enjoying a fine season and was in top form tonight as he gave Foley a nightmare with his pace and directness. His goal was well taken, though the Wolves team can take an assist as they allowed him to stroll in on goal.
