SHINee's Hello repacked album ranked 1st on Hanteo Album Charts
SHINee's 2nd repacked album "Hello" has been sweeping charts and experienced popularity resulting it to be ranked number 1 on album charts.
SHINee's "Hello" was released on the 4th of October and has been ranked number 1 on hanteo album charts. Also, their 2nd album "Lucifer" also had tremendous popularity and SHINee's repacked album will be following it's steps.
SHINee has made their comeback with "Hello" and showed a more smooth and romantic chart compared to their image for "Lucifer" which was strong and powerful. With their more youthful comeback, fans are paying more attention to them.

I’mKaren as admin of Koreanupdates. I’ll just do a brief report fromKorean Week Press Conference this time. So this Press Conference washeld at 6pm tonight at Ritz Carlton Hotel, Kuningan Jakarta. I arrivedat hotel about half past 5 and I saw many Shawols were already waitingthere. Most of them are high school students but bcoz very tightsecurity, I guessed they couldnt come in.
After I passed the security guard, Iwent to press conference hall directly. After waiting about 30 minutes,the PC was started by a lady with a brief speech (I guess she is theKorea embassy). Then Naomi and Go Yun Jop entered the hall. Not longafter that, the stars tonight, SHINee also entered the hall. Everyonewas so excited and went forward the stage. The situation was almostuncontrolable so the MC let us to take pics by photo session.
Onew opened a speech aboutKorean-Indonesian relationship. He hoped the relationship could getbetter and so on. After that press may ask 3 questions. the 2 firstquestions only asked about what SHINee’s feeling for their arrival toIndonesia and about holding mini concert tomorrow. And of course theyfelt excited. The last question about what songs will they singtomorrow. Onew answered “It’s Lucifer, Ring Ding Dong and our newestsong, Hello” (in Korean).
Son Ho Young (who came late) greetedeverybody and said sorry with his warm smile. Then questions were askedtoward Son Ho Young, Gu Yon Jup and Naomi about (again) what songs willthey bring tomorrow. Son Ho Young answered he will sing his old songs.Gu Yon Jup will sing his new songs and Naomi about to sing a song withGita Gutawa (a teenager singer from Indonesia).
Then again with photo session until everyone was satisfied and the PC was over.
For myself, this is a very very greatchance to bring this up for u guys. I’m so happy that u’r excited aswell. Seemed like SHINee was so tired after 6-hour flight from Seoul toJakarta. And I’ve uploaded bunch of pics on our facebook account sokeep refreshing ur page, lovers. Hope u enjoy and keep supporting ustill the next korean event!

SHINee’s Jonghyun and Key injured during Indonesia trip
It was revealed today that two of SHINee’s members were injured after a performance in Indonesia. SHINee took off for Jakarta to perform for the ‘Korea-Indonesia Sharing Friendship Concert‘, held on October 12th.
SM Entertainment announced on the 14th, “The Indonesian fans showed a lot of interest in SHINee during this event. There were a lot of people that were waiting to see the group after the performance, so as Jonghyun was getting off-stage, he was being pushed around, causing him to twist his ankle and injure his ligaments. Key also got hurt at this time.”
SM continued, “Jonghyun went to a hospital in Seoul as soon as he arrived. He got a minor cast to protect his ankle. Key went to the hospital as well and they told him he should rest for a day or two. Because of this, SHINee could not make it to the event that was scheduled that night.”
SM added, “But their injuries are not serious, so their follow-up song ‘Hello’ will be promoted without problems. SHINee members remain very thankful of the Indonesian fans’ support.”
Their appearance in Indonesia made it to the first page of ‘The Jakarta Post’.
Suddenly this explains why SHINee performed with just Minho, Taemin and Onew at the KIKO Public Awareness Cultural Fest last night.

- The last song Taem selected was Boy meets Girl from their Romeo +Juliette album. Taem says it's his favorite. Their last talk was abouttheir thoughts on living as idols.
Taemin: I learned a lot from Onew-hyung in trainee days.
My memories with Onew-hyung are mostly our practicing together at the rooftop in trainee days.
I didn't take any vocal class at that time. I only took aural classes because my voice was changing.
So Onew-hyung gave me first direct vocal lessons, I think.
I learned vocal exercises from Onew-hyung... I remember him as a very nice hyung.
Onew: There were so many trainees. The exercise room was always so crowded. (Taemin: the underground one...)
Yes. So it's stuffy there. And I was new to the place and felt a bitawkward... so I practiced at the rooftop everyday. I liked singingwhile seeing the sky and floating clouds... thinking, Can I send myvoice up to there? Then, when I was practicing there like this, I wasfound ... by Taemin.
We often practiced together.
The host: Then you didn't know you'd become members of Shinee when you were practicing?
Taemin: No we didn't.
The host: Ah...
Onew: Yes, from then...
Taemin: From then... Onew-hyung's first impression was so good. He always smiled, and his voice was so good.
The host: His voice is really good. Ah, your voice is so good too.
Onew: You wore teddy bear T-shirt.
Taemin:Yes, teddy bear t-shirt... Onew-hyung was in school uniform because hecame directly from school. Always. And he had chestnut hair*...a shorthair cut.
Onew: Called half-shaved. 8mm, 5mm...I had it shaved that short. It was comfortable for me
