i agree & disagree at the same time...  hehehe.. if you tour sorang2, mmg baik guna tour, though mahal but u're paying for yourself only. besides, ada jugak company kan? lagi satu, time factor. if you have only a couple of days in London mmg baik naik London tour bus tu je lah.. liek you said, jimat masa. But lack of adventure. as for us, we had 17 days so tak yah naik tour bus tu lah nak jln2 london. Getting around london is already easy. My son is obsessed with the tube that he has memorised the announcement & his favourite phase is "Mind the Gap". Paling lawak punya experience was when we all 3 beranak berlari turun tangga nak kejar tube. I siap carry my son sambil berlari masuk dlm tube.. tiba2 sedar that it's not the right one (kan circle & district same platform). I jerit kat anak i "ehh DIilayla! silap! silap! jom keluar! cepat! " we got off the tube just in time pintu tutup! we laughed at ourselves, & others in the tube pun laughed at us!
Then, masa nak top up oyester card. nak try kat machine. I baru je tgh dok baca instruction how to top up (dah lembab sikit skrg ni) my 7 yr old daughter siap tekan2 screen & settled semua for me. lepas dia tekan2 dia ckp, "ok, you put how much you want to top up" I wanted to use coins tapi tak jumpa tpt masuk coins then my daughter tunjuk, "tu! kat atas " dah letak semua coins, dia ckp" ok, place the card!" aku pun ikut! betul ke ni dilayla? "betul! ok dah siap!" I laughed so hard after that sbb rasa diri soooo lembab! budak2 cepat belajar! agaknya masa time i tgh queue beli ticket or making inquiries or tgh dok tgk map, time tu la agaknya dia tgk org lain pakai machine tu.
aiyooo... you think i shopping2 harrods ka? tu tpt arab kaya2 je.. i cuma beli biskut Harrods je!  tu je lah yg mampu beli. and also the tall mug for my dad buat dia minum kopi o. Sakit hati betul kat harrods tu sbb ridiculously expensive! sabar je lah! pemilik Islam tapi kat fresh market jual babi! an insult to the name 'mohammad' |

btol lah tu..kalo dah 17 hari nak buat apa naik touring bus tu ....like my case before, touch n go...wpun duduk dah berthn..kekek
seriously muslyn...i dun like city that much my destination for holiday would be some where far from the city...
me pernah pergi paris gak...tapi yelah city, nothing much you can do...unless u like to go shop...and have a lot of |

trip was from 050507 till 200507
pegi ngan my parents, hubby, sister and my daughter
goooooooood weather eventhough it's still too cold for spring
but my daughter enjoyed her stay i tell you
she's only 15 months sampai sana tanak makan nasik
nak makan kentang omputeh jer

betul.. i prefer the countryside cuma London very practical lah.. easy access..good transport, wheras kalau the countryside u need to have a car.. dah la petrol nya mahal gila kan? close to 1 pound! but i guess if you're earning in pounds tak terasa beban lah! dah la kete murah kat sana. jln pun tak de toll! jln best lagi tuh! driving is sooo pleasurable outside London! (pening tak habis lagi bila pikir jln2 kat london) I pun bukan suka holiday in the city.. i tumpang je my husband yg ada keje kat sana.. weekends baru dpt jln2 luar London.. tu lah dpt sampai ke Wales, ke Bristol, Ashford,.. Bath.. I love Bath! too bad hari yg welll pergi hujan sepnjg hari.. mmg betul2 'bath' lah hari tu!
seriously i never plan to shop in London. nak gi jln2 je.. tapi bila tgk all tpt2 tourist attraction yg semuanya charging 16 pounds above per person & we all pulak 4 beranak, so we decided to shop lah! at least we get benda yg dpt pegang! (such a crappy excuse!) but masa i kat portobello mrkt tu, i fell in love with antiques plak.. tapi tu lah.. duit dah nak habis gara2 terpaksa beli tiket mahal ke theatre.. nak hidup lagi kat msia! hahaha.. if not, makan pasir plak! |

saya dah balik cik mimi. crabtree & evelyn pricing i tak sure. lupa nak check. ada tny my friend kat sana, tapi dia jwb " kenapa you sibuk with crabtree? sooo org tua lah! buy L'occitane lah! " tapi dia ada mention that Body shop now is expensive sbb Lancome dah beli company dia. I pun suka jugak crabtree tu sbb hotel that we stayed provides crabtree's toileteries. best jugak! tapi my friend plak ckp, crabtree utk org tua2 je.. heheh tak jadi i nak survey!
tok sah beli lah cosmetics or skin care lain in UK. L'oreal, maybeline, revlon semua tu easily rm20-30 more expensive. maybe crabtree tu murah sikit je lah compared to msian price. |

manchester me tak berapa tahu...tapi kalo birmingham, memang perkampungan pakistani....me suka makan kat nandos, ...dekat dgn my house dulu2...selalu balik dr beli asian groceries kat wing yip....
bila pindah pi worthing,closed to brighton...baru rasa cam dok tempat omputih...kekekek
brtis selalu buat lawak sacarstic pasal banduan yg dihantar ke australia, depa kata org dulu kurang pandai sebab asutralia lagi byk tanah drp depa kat situ... |

kat liverpool memang ada keluarga kelasi2 melayu tahun 60-an/70-an yg berkawin dgn local ppl kat sana. anak2 mrk masih continue beragama islam tapi maybe adat melayu tu dah berkurangan. |
