In all but maybe one or two matches, Gabriel Heinze has been los Blancos' worst player since Juande took over and it is inexplicable why Miguel Torres, who did enough to impress the imperious, dictatorial Fabio Capello in 2007, hasn't yet been given a fair run. Given a chance, he could either emerge as a top class player, or at very least fill a void until a summer signing can be made.

Rafa wanted Heinze. Let him have the man. He is clumsy, a play-acter and agricultural in possession. He is only able to really perform when the team are up against it and he can defend on the edge of his own area like his life depends on it. He would fit in well with Rafa's style of play. He does not belong at Real Madrid - certainly not as first choice. Another one of Predrag Mijatovic's quick-fix signings that has fallen apart.

It was Heinze who cost Madrid the game in conceding a needless free-kick with his pub league approach to defending. Gonzalo Higuain did the team no favours in failing to mark Yossi Benayoun - who headed home the winner - but it was the more shaggy-haired Argentine who cost his side the game and quite probably the tie.

It would be unfair to scrutinise Madrid's starting line-up. Attempting to stretch a Liverpool side who are famed for defending narrow was a smart approach on paper, but excellent defensive performances from their back four, midfield four and Dirk Kuyt - nine players pressing non-stop - meant that change was needed.

bila last skali youth palyers bangsa spanish derang bagi main 1st team biasanya tolak kati je, de la red pun rasanya kena tolak kati dah pasni

aku nak tanyer...takkan laa semata mata nak tunjukkan product youth kiter nak sacrificekan first team squad..kalo coach tuu rasa youth tuu dah dpt explosure yg ckp..and he's better than first team player konpom dia akan ambik kan....mcm silva pun main loan kat club dulu kan....bueno mmg spaniard.....
