The girl group that's fascinating the world has landed in Japan!
4minute, who has gained incredible popularity throughout Asia, has finally debuted in Japan. Through their singing and rapping, as well as their amazing dance moves, they have gained their name by capturing the world's hearts in under 4 minutes, and they have already charmed a great number of girls their age in Japan. We will see the true faces of the girls, who have been touted as fashion icons!
Pressure to be a girl group who has to do activities outside of Korea:
Interviewer: You've finally debuted in Japan! How do you feel?
SoHyun: When I hear that we are able to have a Japanese debut, I start to tremble and my heart is really beating fast! As far as our careers outside of Korea, there was pressure that we had to try really hard, as well as display our growth, but we practiced with all our might, and we could see the results after our first Japanese concert at Zepp Tokyo.
JiHyun: I think there is a lot of meaning in us having our first Japanese concert. It was the first time for us, and all 5 of us were able to make really amazing memories. And in regards to all the love we received from many Japanese fans of ours, we want to say thank you so much!
Interviewer: Could you tell us about your Japanese debut song, Muzik?
Gayoon: It's a song that really shows the colors of our group. We chose this song, as it was the most appealing song for us as 4minute. Even at our concert, when this song came on we could hear all the fans shouting and cheering us on together in unison.
Jiyoon: No matter what part of Muzik you listen to, the song's composition is excellent. In particular, during the hook of the song, the "SSSSSSS SEXY MUZIK" bit repeats quite a few times and it really sticks in your head. The beat is really strong, and when we perform it, it causes the fans and us to really get excited.
HyeonAh: The dance at that section is called the DJ dance. You put your hand on your ear and move your shoulder with the music, and your body naturally rocks to the beat. It's really fun.
Gayoon: But the Japanese lyrics' pronunciation is really difficult! I originally thought we did a good job and I was satisfied with it, but the next day we had to do rerecord and do numerous revisions over and over. We worked really hard on the recording, so we hope many people listen to the song.
Into any Japanese anime or music?
Interviewer: What's your impression of your Japanese fans?
Jiyoon: At the concert, many fans came who were wearing clothes and accessories like from our PVs, so I was really happy. Fans dressed not only in the Muzik style, but the Hot Issue fashion, and I could feel their love and support, which was great.
HyeonAh: I was happy too that there were so many girls who were rocking our style. Each member of 4minute has their own style, and when those fashions and hairstyles come together as one, it's really great I think.
Interviewer: So what are you guys into in your private time?
Jiyoon: I'm a huge fan of Naruto! I always do imitations of the characters in front of the other girls.
SoHyun: I love computers and other electronics, so I like to listen to music on my mp3 player and watch funny videos online.
HyeonAh: My favorite things are always changing, but these days I love convenience stores! Just yesterday I bought 5 bags of candy at the convenience store. I love little shopping trips like that.
Gayoon: Usually I'm really into fashion, but I've also gotten into really emotional Japanese music lately to prepare for our Japanese debut. I have a lot of interest in Japanese music, like "Snow Flower" by Nakashima Mika, which I sang as a solo at our concert here in Japan.
JiHyun: These days because we're so busy, the 5 of us can't usually go out and do things together, but when we do have time, I like going to the movies together with everyone.
4minute hyunah got injured after schedule at Music Bank
It was reported late again that 4minute member Hyuna got injured.
Hyuna on May 21, after their schedule at Music Bank where they had their comeback stage, their vehicle was moving and the girls were about to enter but due to the large crown surrounding them there was a slight car accident and hyunah got her finger injured.
Hyuna was in extreme pain and was immediately rushed to the nearest local hospital to be treated immediately. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries but only minor fractures on her finger but Hyuna's still was traumatized by the accident.
4minute,s agency said, "Hyuna's finger was hurt and it was treated at the hospital and now it is covered with bandages. Her fracture is being treated by her trauma seems to have not gone yet. We will be careful for it not to lead to any more serious injuries".
Meanwhile, Hyunah will be resting for a couple of days.

4minute’s Gayoon went on a serious diet for their comeback
4minute has released a BTS video on their website where you get to see the girls as they were shooting for their album jacket photos.
Gayoon said while getting interviewed, “I’ve only been eating chicken breast. I have been exercising consistently and maintained a healthy diet with our dance practices.”
I always thought girl groups naturally had amazing bodies but it looks like everyone works hard for their bodies.
