international airport kuantan itu ada 3 flight jah sehari ke KL, nak cover kos operasi pun sah2 tak lepas sis.

airport kota baharu itu akak sedar makin maju lepas ada skolah pilot dan abang2 off shore naik helikopter dari sana, carigali hess dan weststar ada based kat sana.
selain itu yg private jet hangar tu akak tak pasti siapa punya.

Design airport nie 4C jah, maksudnya boleh cater up to A320, with two aerobridges and one open bay. Masih ala2 taraf airport Bintulu, Miri dan Sibu jah. Btw, kenapa Kedah perlu sampai 3 airport? Dah cukup menguntungkan kah airport yg dua lagi tu? Kan elok majukan pengangkutan darat dulu. Buat speed railway atau efficient bus dari kawasan2 kepadatan penduduk tinggi ke airport Bayan Lepas ataupun Alor Setar.

airport AOR akak tak pasti lagu mana skarang sebab last akak naik dair situ zaman kakak kanak2 lagi.
tapi airport langkawi yg so called international itu so sendu. sedih sangat tengok ke "internationalan" nya

zaman2 dulu tak silap akak MAS ada stop over flight to/from london. sekarang? hado jah.
paling international pun dari temasek jah kot?

Too expensive. Kena tengok jugak, berapa kapasiti airport tu, berapa banyak beri pulangan balik. Contohnya katakan airport Kulim nie nanti dpt attract 2 million passengers, di mana 1 million landing/1 million departing (which I doubt, sbb airport Sibu yg dah lama operasi pun baru dpt 1 million traffic), so, pada kadar RM5 utk domestik, RM40 utk international.. kalau conservative estimate: 70:30 (70 domestic, 30 international) - jadi 700k x RM5, 300k x RM40 = RM15.5 juta. Ini airport tax jah, nak campur lagi revenue dr iklan etc, mgkin semua revenue dlm RM50 juta. Cukup ker RM50 juta utk tampung kos operasi airport? Belum lagi bayar pulangan utk construct airport tu. Kalau RM50 juta pegi ke development cost alone, TANPA interest, perlu 32 tahun utk balik modal - itupun tanpa termasuk kos operasi uols! Kalau masuk kos operasi, interest etc, entah2 makan 100 tahun baru balik modal buat airport tu!

Iols waktu landing kat airport Langkawi pun terkejut kay. Landing pakai A320, tapi satu aerobridge pun takder. Masuk2 jah ke terminal building, terus tengok baggage carousel. Jalan sikit ke luar terus dah nak jumpa teksi gituh. So sendu. Airplanes pun tak byk landing, hanya satu-satu jah yg landed. Tapi takleh lawan kesenduan airport Kuantan. Walaupun international kekdahnya sikit, sbb ada flight gi Singapore, tapi terminal building sangat panas. Kawasan check in counter takder air con. Masuk boarding hall jah ada aircon, itupun ruangannya kecik ya amat. Iols rasa iols split leg pun tak habis kaki mencecah lantai kot disbbkan kesempitannya. Kesiannya airport sendu mcm nie diberi nama Sultan. Iols rasa elok jah tutupkan jah semua airport yg sendu2 nie kalau ada byk alternatif pengangkutan lain.

Satu jah airport yg private noks - Senai Airport. Yg lain semua MAHB jaga.

Last time ada flight Air Asia direct dari Miri ke Kuala Terengganu, tapi tak sampai 30 hari dah stop noks. Driver iols beli tiket kesian kena refund balik last2 dia pakai bas jah.

Bagi iols lah kan, sistem pengangkutan darat di Malaya dah cukup efisien. Tak perlu lah banyak2 sangat airport. Just maintain jah airport yg profitable dan feasible spt KLIA, KLIA2, Bayan Lepas, Senai, Langkawi, Subang & KB. Even Subang pun iols rasa better katup jah coz too near to KLIA. Mcm Sabah dan Sarawak lain kes, sbb kat sana ada tempat takleh akses pakai jalan darat dan air, terpaksa pakai flight jah gitu. So mmg wajar lah dioperate STOL airport semua.

semua under MAHB except Senai (JHB) airport sis....

yg ini mereka ala2 manage sendiri sebegitu...

airport Bayan Lepas tu memang perlu sangat diganti.

aku rasa dalam banyak2 airport di Malaysia, dia sahajalah yang masih guna terminal lama seangkatan subang rasanya.... you can only do so much with facelift sedangkan ruang lantai tetap sempit. Kalau dua neighbouring gates sama2 tengah borading, silap2 queue boleh terbelit...

dahulu kala saya pernah terbang dari Kuantan ke Temasik namun kini perkhidmatan tersebut telah lama diberhentikan.

semenjak LPT dibuka, sudah tidak masuk akal lagi utk fly dari Kuantan ke KUL kecuali ada connecting flight ke destinasi seterusnya baru berbaloi.

zaman kanak2 akak masa AOR pre-aerobridge ka?

Sejak 2005 or 2006 sebegitu sudah guna terminal baru ada 2 aerobridges... tapi masih sendu lah kalau berniaga tudung di situ....
