ahaks! Sbenarnya pelakon2 kat Hong Kong nu memang rata2 kawin lambat sbb terlampau bz keje sampai takde masa nak fikir hal kawin. Mungkin diaorang takut anak bini terabai kalo kawin masa skrg. Leon kata dia bersedia kawin masa dah masuk umur 40 nanti.
Leon ni memang camtu... masa umur dia baru masuk 32 hari tu dia kata bersedia nak kawin bila dah umur 36 ke atas. Tapi bila dah masuk 36, dia tukaq tarket kawin umur 40 ke atas... apparraaa..!!:stp::stp:

*Leon_Lai* Eric Tsang was in the water, and he joked to the lighting staff: when you are filming girls in water, you guys are so attentive, but when you are filming me in the water, you don't show the same attention! Further in another scene, he is supposed to knock Eric's head with a clock in pretense, but I really knocked hard for a better effect!

Leon Lai News Today - 26/01/04
The movie "Leaving Me Loving You", starring Leon and Faye Wong will begin its screening on 12 February, and its promotion is coming in waves.
After a series of movie posters were released at bus stops, the film company will be putting the advertisement of this movie in the rotating billboard at MTR platform. This is the first time a movie poster is placed in the rotating billboard since it began its usage last month. The director Wilson Yip and creative/production controller Leon Lai personally went to see the effect of this billboard at Admiralty MTR station.
Leon said that the billboard is located at the platform of a very busy MTR station. During normal days, many working people would be able to see it, and thus more people would know about this movie.
On the other hand, the movie also obtained the support of a bank to release its exclusive limited edition movie pass. The movie pass includes two movie ticket exchange coupons and two collectable movie cards

Weeeee.... seronotnyer... kedatangan Leon ke Malaysia dgn Faye Wong memang telah disahkan benar. Insya-allah 6 & 7 Februari depan mereka akan berada di ibukota.
Kepada peminat2 Leon & Faye, jangan lupa memeriahkan prebiu filem terbaru mereka "Leaving Me Loving U" di One Utama, KL pada pukul 6:30 petang, 6hb. Februari 2004. Sesapa yg teringin nak tengok Leon dari dekat, jom la pi tengok... peluang ni bukan senang nak dapat sbb Leon tu liat sesangat nak mai sini. Leon returned to Hong Kong yesterday evening. A lot of fans were already waiting for him at the airport. When they saw Leon, they were immediately very excited and gave him a lot of presents and red packets, and Leon accepted all the presents and red packets.

Leon Lai News Today - 29/1/2004
The movie, "Leaving Me Loving You", with Leon as its creative/production controller, had attracted the "20th Century Fox" to invest in it. Leon had flew to Thailand to meet up with the film company's representatives during the Bangkok International Film Festival and had successfully reached an agreement with them. "Leaving Me Loving You" will be distributed by a subsidiary company of Fox.
On the other hand, the last poster of "Leaving Me Loving You", in which Leon was hugging Faye tightly, would be pasted on buses for promotion. While filming the movie, Leon attend to all matters personally. Other than discussing the script with the director, he would also test out scenes himself, aiming for the best. Although it was harder work, but Leon said that as long as the audience is satisfied and have a good time watching the movie, the hard work was worth it, and he would feel a greater sense of satisfaction.

Hong Kong News:
Leon recently went to Thailand to promote "Leaving Me Loving You". While chatting with the host about filming the movie, he said that being a creative/production controller gave him a sense of freshness, and a sense of satisfaction after watching the movie. He had a part in creating the script and it is also his love story.
During the activity, fans went up the stage to give presents to Leon, he accepted them graciously and chatted with the fans. His attendance to this promotion event attracted over 500 fans which packed the whole shopping mall. When Leon received interviews from the local media, his attitude was also very friendly. He answered all questions posed by the reporters and left a good impression with the local media. In addition, he received a clock as a souvenir to record that historical moment.
The high popularity of Leon in Thailand is mainly due to his performance in "Three" and "Comrades, Almost a Love Story", which have been shown in Thailand. Therefore, wherever he went, he attracted lots of fans.
Taiwan News:
Leon's manager, Joe Chan, recently came to Taiwan for matters regarding the screening of "Leaving Me Loving You". He revealed that Leon had gave all his heart to this movie. Other than sleeping 6 or 7 hours per day, he was discussing the script or thinking of new ideas for the rest of the time. While discussing with the director Wilson Yip, Leon had his own opinion, but he would also accept the director's ideas objectively. Both of them cooperated very well.
"Leaving Me Loving You" was filmed in Shanghai. Its production costs is about US$3 million, which was considered expensive for a literary film. It was pointed out that "Leaving Me Loving You" has a similar feeling to "Comrades, Almost a Love Story". Joe Chan said that the story of "Comrades..." was more exaggerating and miraculous, not many normal people would encounter such a story. In contrast, "Leaving Me Loving You" is talking about the feelings between people.
After winning the Golden Horse Best Actor award, Leon is even more cautious in choosing the movies to act in. Directors who have cooperated with him before, like Peter Chan, Andrew Lau and Mabel Cheung are all interested in cooperating with him again. Taiwan audience will be able to see "Leaving Me Loving You" during March.

Leon Lai News Today - 1/2/2004
The night before, Hong Kong reporters who were in Thailand to report on the Bangkok International Film Festival spotted Leon in a famous shark fins restaurant in Bangkok tourism spot, Siam Square. Leon was treating a group of working crew to delicacies like abalones and shark fins, and the bill was only about HK$3000.
Bird flu had appeared in Thailand, of course Leon did not eat chicken. But he said, "I didn't eat chicken because I have a flu, not because I'm afraid of bird flu."
Actually, Leon was in Thailand for the post production of "Leaving Me Loving You". He said, "It's because I hope the movie will have Hollywood movies' effect. So, I sent the films to Austrailia for development and now they are being transported to Thailand for special processing. Although it's 30% more expensive, but it's worth it. I'm very satisfied with the movie."

Leon and Faye will be coming to Malaysia and Singapore for 4 days to promote their romance movie, "Leaving Me, Loving You". Actually, last month, Leon had already planned the schedule of promoting "Leaving Me, Loving You" in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. And the first stop of promotion will be in Malaysia and Singapore. Both of them will attend large-scale press conferences and receive interviews from the local media. As both of them had not appeared there for a long time and with the combined popularity of both of them, they will definitely attract a crowd.
Regarding this "romantic promotion trip", Leon's manager, Joe Chan said, "You should not say that their first stop is given to overseas, not Hong Kong. On the contrary, the Japan distributor hopes that he will go there to promote when the movie is officially shown, but you have to see his schedule first. Before that, Leon had gone to Thailand to promote the movie. After Singapore's stop, both of them will return to Hong Kong and attend the event of the opening of the movie on the 12th." |
