actually, treatment ni varies from one trip to another...i byk perhatikan dan experienced it depends to the cabin crew jugak...
ada group of cabin crew yg friendly...ada yg tak..tho dlm same airlines...
not sure ada org dah jawap your question Marwang about the frequent flyer programme...yes, it is free...but each programme different benefits and conditions...
i have few:
1. ENrich (MAS) - ada few level...for check in kat KLIA, MAS ada special counter for cardholder tho you travel in economy...but only applies from SIlver above...Blue card I tak sure..and for Enrich, ada validity period for the points..means ada expiry...
2. Delta - takde expiry if you travel and achieve certain amount of points within a year...
Redeeem points quite ok to travel far coz it goes by region.
3. Miles and More - Lufthansa/Austrian etc...ni pun ok..but ada limitation sikit in term of flying within Asia kalau nak redeem points.
4. Star Alliance - Singapore and many...ok gak...

sebab tu dia panggil frequent flyer programme...kalau jarang travel ngan MAS, better enrolled with STar Alliance or some other programme...cari yg takde expiry points...

but try to check the card which has wider partner airlines and also other non airline partners such as car rental, hotel etc... |

pernah naik turkish airlines-stewardess agak kasar.mungkin percakapan mereka mcm tu.makanan banyak,maybe tempoh yg lama atas flight(12h)
dragon air-bising ngn kaum cina,toilet bucuk
cathay pasific-ok laar....rancangan tv best2.mgkn depa target kanak2 kot.kan hongkong punya.promotion tuk disneyland kot.apa2 enjoy,bnyk chnnel cartoon.
mas airlines-best.sopan santun stewardess kita berbanding yg lelain yg pernah sy naik.proud to be malaysian. |

kalu mcm Skymiles, dia bole collect point utk semua dia punye airlines partner incl. MAS. Sbb aku join Skymiles ni, tp 1x jer dpt collect points, sbb yg lain2 tu aku beli tiket time promo. so kalu promo sorry ler, mne2 airlines pun tk applicable utk collect points.  |

ooo dah lama gak ni, 2006. masa tu booking MAS business class utk business travel, tp travel agent yg uruskan pasal ticketing tu. Pastu masa tu nk enrol Enrich ade problem, so ticketing agent tu yg tolong enrolkan utk Skymiles ni. Tk pasti lak dia wat camne. Tau2 jer dah dpt email utk Skymiles akaun nih. |

Arwien,
thru skymiles, kalau dah ada points, you boleh redeem (not earn the points) the points to book some hotels..means, you boleh pakai skymiles points to pay your hotel.
I did that to book hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland during my social visit....

What you can do, kalau time you fly thru KLM, you boleh request kat Check-in counter the application form. Boleh dapat temporary card and boleh terus pakai and earn the points.

pramugari/pramugara=semua tua..taraf pencen dah..umur mcm 55 tahun keatas kot tolak troli kene dibantu pramugari yg muda
yg lain semua ok.. |

bercakap pasal pramugari/pramugara ni, masa aku travel last year, ade la berborak2 dgn white middle-age couple from south africa. dia tanye aku dr mne, aku pun cakap la aku dr malaysia. pastu dia pun bukak la citer pasal dia pernah naik MAS ni. pastu dia dok puji2 pasal pramugari/pramugara MAS semua cantik2, mcm ballerina..siap citer kat anak2 dia lagi pasal pramugari2 MAS ni pakai kebaya.. mmg diaorg terpegun & excited la dgn kebaya tu sbb tak pernah tengok org pakai kebaya..pada diaorg mmg cantik, siap ckp ngan aku, they look like a group of ballerina & excited nak naik MAS lg in future. Sure kembang semua pramugari2 MAS kalu dengar ni. hehe..tp as a malaysian I was proud at that time sbb diaorg puji MAS. |
