American, English people...they can take care of their own language.
Even if Mandarin and Japanese do catch up...english won't be easily faded away just like that.
My bigger concern is for my beloved 'bahasa'... |

it doesn't matter your english fluent or not but you must relax and answer what ever they ask....
some interviewer just what to see our communication....they didn't border to our working experince.... please talk in interview and try ask a question.....
during interview
whether your speak fluently
just relax and try the best to answer all their questions -
interviewers

Actually, my biggest concern is not for 'bahasa'...
That's why i said 'bigger'...but it's not a big deal actually
I expected a lot of traffic here...sadly it's not happening. Something should be done to attract more viewers... |

if it is not your biggest concern
then u ought to write : -
my big concern is ......
bigger is a comparative word -
and it must be followed by 'than' to make it
grammatically correct -
if that's not your biggest concern - no worries - |

OIC...i dropped the term 'than' because i think it's redundant....
But how about this phrase "always look at the bigger picture"
Should we use 'than'? is this sentence grammatically correct? |

that's in different context cuz than there
is hidden -
'always look at the bigger picture .. (than)[ the one
we're talking about]
in your earlier post -- u said 'my bigger concern is my beloved bahasa -
and that's incorrect -
if you were saying 'my bigger concern than this situation is my beloved bahasa
then, that's correct -
alas - your sentence should be ' bahasa is not a big concern for me -'
cuz i have bigger concern than that - etc etc etc |

I suggest that you load down a composition about any topic, say about 50~ 100 words and post it here so that our English Language forumers can learn about the hidden mistakes of grammer. The compositions submitted shall be from our forumers' own article. We can highlight all the correct grammer sentences as well as pronunciation of words. |

i do not think we need to have a specific topic; we just go with the flow whoever has something to say just post it and some will reply and talk about that topic, my two cents. |

The sentence is the basic grammatical and thought unit in English. It contains both a subject and a predicate. The subject consists of a noun or noun equivalent and all of its modifiers. The predicate consists of the verb and all of the words related to it, such as objects, complements and modifiers. |

|
The main elements of the sentence are the subject, verb or linking verb, direct object, indirect object and complement. Not all of these, however, will appear in every sentence. Only the subject and verb are essential. |
