New ‘Sunday Night,’ who did the PDs pick as the rising MC stars?
Returning ‘Rice House Ajuhssi (old man)’ Kim Young Hee PD has remodeledMBC ‘Sunday Sunday Night’ and is waiting for the December 6 firstepisode in the face of much anticipation. The new ‘Sunday Sunday Night’will look at others around us and our surroundings, and it will alsowork to spread love and interest for worldwide problems through globalservice.
The brand new faces of the MCs reflect how much theshow has changed. The writers mixed new faces such as Jung Yong Hwa,Yoon Doojoon, Hwang Jungeum, Jung Gaeun, Kim Hyunjoong, and Goo Harawith experienced MCs such as Kim Yongman, Shin Junghwan, Kim Goora, KimHyunchul, Shin Dongyeob, and Lee Hwijae.
Among these various MCs, who did the writers pick as the rising stars? We asked the main ‘Sunday Sunday Night’ producer.

Inaddition [to Tak Jaehoon], Sung PD also said he saw potential in groupBEAST’s leader Yoon Doojoon, who is attempting a variety show for thefirst time with ‘DanBi.’ Sung PD said, “Despite the fact that he isyoung and has little experience, he was quickly able to catch on to theprogram. He is someone we’ll have to watch closely as the episodes goon.”

On the December 6 episode of SBS ‘Popular Song’ (Inkigayo), BEAST performed their follow-up song, ‘Mystery.’
In‘Mystery,’ a man who does not know why the woman’s feelings changedasks her to return to how they used to be. The dance where they havetheir hand beneath their chin, like they are contemplating a problem,and then roll their neck is particularly memorable.
BEAST,compared to their black and white concept from ‘Bad Girl,’ upgradedtheir costumes to create a new feeling. As they perform on more shows,BEAST is gaining confidence, and their performances are fun to watch.
Pretty disgusting just thinking about it, huh? Well, not for our BEASTy Doojoon!I guess while his fellow group members were rocking the stage in Korea,Doojoon was enjoying himself by eating tasty African bugs.
On the episode of MBC's new program, Danbi thataired on the 6th, Doojoon showed the audience his rather odd taste budsby pouring some dried larvae and ants in his mouth. While chewing whatonce happened to be crawling insects, Doojoon nonchalantly shouted, "These are rich in protein!"
The fans were not only entertained by Doojoon's surprising appetite,but also got a good laugh listening to his poor English used to lowerthe price for such an extravagant snack. Thanks to his good looks andcharm, Doojoon managed to get a successful dee-soo-cow-woon-too!
Rookie boy group BEAST is soaring through the Korean music charts!
Ever since BEAST switched over to 'Mystery' from 'Bad Girl,'their music chart rankings have been going straight up! Although theirdebut song 'Bad Girl' received much love due to its lively andenergetic beat, fans seem to prefer the more powerful and charismaticsound of 'Mystery'.
The powerful dance moves of 'Mystery' also ranked 1st on Korean searchengines after their performance aired. The popularity of 'Mystery' isgarnering so much interest from fans that people are suspecting a new 'Mystery Syndrome' to arise. Or perhaps, it is already happening.
