Liu Shishi (Chinese: 刘诗诗; pinyin: Liú Shīshī; born 10 March 1987), also known as Cecilia Liu, is a Chinese actress best known for portraying Long Kui in the television series Chinese Paladin 3 and Ruoxi in the Chinese time-travel drama Scarlet Heart and Imperial Doctress. She is also known as one of the New Four Dan Actresses.
2005–2010: Beginnings and Rising popularity[edit]
In 2009, Liu gained popularity after appearing in the hit fantasy action drama Chinese Paladin 3; her role as Long Kui broke her previous typecasting as a "gentle, kind, and understanding maiden" and received positive reviews from critics and fans.[6] In 2010, Liu starred in the historical drama A Weaver on the Horizon, based on the life story of Huang Daopo. Originally cast in the role of the lead female protagonist, Liu instead chose to portray the princess Zhao Jiayi, as she felt that the character's developments would challenge her acting.[7] 2011–2012: Breakthrough and Film debut[edit]Liu then focused her career on the big screen; she made her feature film debut in The Next Miracle, directed by Taiwanese filmmaker Zhuo Li.[12] She also filmed two other movies, Sad Fairy Tale and A Moment of Love.[13] 2013–present: Mainstream popularity[edit]In 2016, Liu headlined the historical drama The Imperial Doctress, based on the life of Tan Yunxian, a famous female physician during China's Ming Dynasty.[28] The drama topped television ratings its run and received positive reviews, and Liu won the Most Influential Actress award at 1st China Television Drama Quality Ceremony for her performance.[29] In 2019, Liu starred in the romance melodrama If I Can Love You So alongside Tong Dawei. The series has previously completed filming in 2016.[34] The same year, she announced her comeback after two years with the female-centric modern drama To Dear Myself.[35]

Nicholas Wu Qilong (born 31 October 1970) is a Taiwanese singer and actor. He found fame in 1988 when he became a member of the popular Taiwanese band, Xiao Hu Dui (Little Tiger Team), performing alongside Alec Su and Julian Chen. The trio were extremely successful in Taiwan, selling over 15 million albums. During his time with Little Tigers Team, he pursued a solo career, releasing an extensive catalogue of songs, Mandarin and Cantonese albums as a solo artist when member Julian Chen left the group to serve compulsory military service. Wu released his debut solo album in 1992. After the break-up of the Little Tigers Team in 1995, Wu continued his solo career and embarked on a career in acting. Since then, his career has expanded into film and television in Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China.
In 1988, Wu was spotted by an entertainment agent, and after an audition he was chosen to be part of the 小虎隊 (Little Tigers Team) and given the nickname of "Pilihu" (霹靂虎; Thunderbolt Tiger). The group quickly became successful throughout Asia but disbanded due to one member's compulsory military service requirement. Wu continued solo, and began singing and acting in Taiwan and Hong Kong. In five years, he released 13 Mandarin and Cantonese albums. As an actor, Wu won the 1993 Best New Artist award in Hong Kong, and the next year played the lead in the 1994 film The Lovers, his greatest commercial success. In February 1997, Wu went into the army to complete his military service.[1] He returned to the entertainment industry in late 1998. Just around the new millennium, with the broadcast of television series such as At the Threshold of an Era, Treasure Venture and Treasure Raiders, Wu achieved fame in the television industry. Since then, he has been working consistently in both film and television. In February 2010, Wu and the other members of Little Tigers Team reunited to perform during the Chinese New Year. In late 2011, Wu acted in the television series Scarlet Heart, which was a huge hit in China.

2003–2006; Rising popularity[edit]2008–2013; Transition to films[edit]After achieving success in television, Liu then ventured onto the big screen. In 2007, she joined William Morris Agency (WMA) and was subsequently cast in her first Hollywood production, The Forbidden Kingdom.[24] She played Golden Sparrow, an orphan seeking revenge against her parents' killer.[25] Thereafter, she starred in romantic-comedy Love in Disguise (2010) opposite Taiwanese singer-actor Wang Leehom.[26] 2014–present; International collaborations and television comeback[edit]In 2014, Liu collaborated with Korean actor-singer Rain for the romance film For Love or Money, based on Hong Kong novelist Amy Cheung's 2006 novel of the same name. Though it did reasonably well at the box office, the film was criticized for its storyline and production.[30] I made a CC (Liu Yifei) film festival for myself, and saw her works have the shock moments in her performance. That convince me that she would be perfect for the part (leading actress in "The Chinese Widow"). When you have two actors like CC and Emile, you know they are so clever and so talented, so it's ...
In December 2017, it was announced that Liu will star in the upcoming fantasy mystery television series, The Love of Hypnosis. This marks her first small-screen comeback in 12 years.[41]
