i pun sama dg oja pasal tone stone dan nitemusume. Sb tone mereka pelik dan unik. Tonenya lembut tapi gagah. Garang tp gentleman. Sama jua dgn tone boboo. Oja lak i kena tunggu u versi baligh. Anyway, i setuju dg uols. Cuma org bpengalaman, boleh mdescribekan tone yg mcm mana boleh komersiolkan dan tone mcm mana yg unik. Maknanya tak ramai ada. Pun begitu mereka pun x semestinya betul sb ada yg suka artis ini tp tak suka artis itu. Tp mcm mencari ratu universe, kita kan masih boleh bezakan mana cantik dan mana tidak. Mana yg komersiol dan mana yg tidak.Pokoknya subjektif. Kalau tone u tak digemari oleh producer x, u carilah producer y. Dan kalau kawan2 u tak suka tone u dg kata tone u kembang ke atau payau ke atau lemau ke , go to hell dg org itu, kerana haruslah ada org lain yg suka tone kita. And tone kawan kita atau pengkritik yg kononnya gah nyanyi pun tak semestinya org suka. Jadi kalau i terdescribe tone abve avg maknanya tone desc iras penyanyi antbgsa. Average maknanya iras penyanyi hotel , function. Senang kata , kalau tone u dgemari ramai org maka itulah tone yg bkualiti. Kalau ramai kata wajah u lawa, maka mmg betul u lawa |

I beg to differ.
People might say, to be a good singer, you have to have the right techniques. Yes, it is true, but not entirely true.
Ada beberapa jenis penyanyi kat dalam dunia ni. Penyanyi yang hanya boleh menyanyi, tetapi tidak boleh menghibur. kedua penyanyi yang pandai menghibur tetapi kurang dari segi nyanyi. Ketiga, penyanyi yang kurang dari segi nyanyian dan kurang dari segi persembahan (menghibur) dan keempat penyanyi yang boleh menyanyi dan menghibur dalam pada masa yang sama. Untuk meletakkan sesorang penyanyi itu dalam kategori-kategori yang berbeza seperti di atas is a very subjective matter. It depends on other peoples perspective, pendengaran, dan penerimaan terhadap seseorang penyanyi itu.
But, actually, the core thing in singing, is tone. Your one of voice will differenciate you from others. Your tone yang akan membuat you samada pergii lebih jauh atau sekadar hanya di pinggiran. Why? Because people will get attracted dengan tone suara, bukan teknik nyanyi. Orang orang biasa tak akan tahu sama ada penyanyi itu menyanyi dengan teknik yang betul atau tidak. yang mereka tahu, samada suara penyanyi itu SEDAP atau TIDAK. It's true, this matter is very subjective. Ada yang suka tone suara penyek, ada yang suka tone suara besar, ada yang suka tone suara halus and etc etc.
But as a singer, you want to be as successful as you can. In order to be known, youve got to have a voice that could appeal to mostly everyone. Memang nobody can change their tone. Buatlah camne pun, your tone is fixed. So, ini semua bergantung pada nasib and kepandaian sendiri. Why I said nasib dan kepandaian sendiri? Let me tell you why.
Your voice in as instrument. You have to know how to work the instrument. maybe instrument is a bit boring untuk kita guna sebagai contoh sebab memang our voice is our music instrument. Kita guna contoh lain.
Imagine our voice ni sekeping kertas/canvas. Dan kertas/canvas ini punya banyak jenis size dan warna. Ada yang size a4, ada yg a5, ada yang b3 and etc. ada yang putih, ada yang kuning, ada yang hitam and etc. these sizes and colours merujuk kepada your vocal range and your tone of voice. So now, you job is to paint the papers/canvas using the right colours to make it beautiful. To make it outstanding. To make it shine. This is where your true talents comes. The creativity of colouring/paint the papers. Understanding the canvas, study the colour of your canvas, discover how to paint it correctly so that your end product which is the artwork or the painting would and could be a masterpiece. So, learn how to pick the right combination of colour and the style of your painting. It can be just simple combination of two colours but bila dan combine jadi lebih cantik dari combination of 4 colours and vice versa. Understand?
Its up to you macam mana nak 'colour' your voice. Use your creativity to diffrenciate youself from others. Kalau you dah tahu your tone of voice is not commercial, then you have to work TWICE harder than those yang dah ada commercial tones untuk appeal the listeners. And kalau you think you have a nice tone of voice, your resposibility is to actually work even more harder to maintain your voice.
So in conlcusion, it's not about having the tone although it is actually the core thing or having the right techniques but the more important thing is your creativity to put 'colours' in your voice. That is the talent that you NEED to have. If you dont have it, then you just do not have the actual potential to be a good singer. That's it. Hope my opinion helps some of you to understand this singing thing. But ni semua merely my opinions. It is not a fact. You may disagree with me if you want to, I wont mind.
