ni aku ada citer... sian member aku stranded kat kolkata sebab kat sana ada strike (mogok)
dah ler tu dia naik biman airlines to dhaka dari dhaka baru naik mas.. biman cancel flights and langsung tanak bagi bilik utk member aku tu berehat.. dah dia panik sbb kedutaan kita nun jauh kat utara dan selatan, kolkata kat tengah2... korang rentikanlah berangan nak pi india tu... huru hara aku dengar
recently my boss pi india(delhi) dia cakap segala jenis kenderaan termasuk yang biodegradable (unta, lembu, babi) semua ada kat atas jalan.. sama seiring dgn kete, moto, beskal semua yg ada laa... mmg multi diversified btoll laa india nih... |

me duk kat quebec city, quebec dalam berjam jam jugak dr ontario..
emm normally kalau canada tu best aje...
tapi quebec, lower rate pasal crime ni.. imigrant pun tak ramai...

i gi kolkata...sesampai aje kat airport.. i mmg terasa area dia so dusty and tak systematic cam airport kat KLIA / Penang. Bila
kat jalan lak ..sesak teramat sesak..and bising dengan bunyi horn kenderaan. mereka suka bunyi horn..sekali tuh i tengah
jalan kat lorong.. i didnt know that the car was honking at me .. cos surrounding you bunyi honk..dunno wheteher they are
honking at me.
Bila disana...advise to drink mineral water from the bottle.. |

I've been to Delhi, India. including agra semua tu lah..
Nothing great but nevertheless a unique experience. To say it's a great holiday destination pun, tak jugak.. for me lah.. but if you're an adventurous type & willing to try anything,.. India is for you. To enjoy India, you need to experience it backpacking style. Baru you boleh appreciate India. you have to experience the culture, the food,.. the people.. baru thrill. I'd say, India is not a place for holiday makers but for rather for adventurous travellers.
Tapi shopping best! sbb murah! Books pun murah. Tak yah bawak baju byk2 sgt ke India sbb save the space for your shopping goods! sbb brg2 dia murah, kalau u tak cukup baju pun you can buy them there.
NOIDA area, sorry, tak familiar.
Food - halal food is everywhere. wpun bukan kedai islam tapi no babi & meat dpt supply dr org islam sbb all butchers are muslims. but watch out gak! jgn mkn tpt yg kotor. takut diarorhea. ramai yg kena cirit birit bila pergi sana.
Pompuan mmg suka sgt kalua shopping kat india ni. other than sarees (which you can use utk buat baju lain) bedspreads, embroidered handbags, shoes, accessories, pashmina murah jugak. but beware. Diorg kuat kelentong! pandai2 lah tgk quality vs price. Books! besttt! murah sgt! I bought a couple of dan brown's & harry potter kat sana.
Must go to Taj Mahal.
In delhi, mesti pergi Sarojini Nagar Market! sarees are cheaper here compared to other places like Connaught Place. You can also buy the huge shopping tote bag dlm rm5 kut. Water proof canvas. Nyesal i tak beli sbb i malas nak lyn org2 yg suruh beli tu! look out for glittery jewellry box, trinket box, photo frames, diaries & notebooks & pens. They make excellent souveineirs & they are cheap! brg2 ni ada jual kat KLCC yg kedai mcm india2 tu. Kat India boleh beli 3 in 1 set for rm10 tapi sini jual bekas size kecil sekali tu rm30. Kat Sarojini market ni pun ada a shops yg jual factory surplus clothes. I found a shop yg jual children's brandname clothing & i went nuts!
Don't ever jln sorg2 kalua u pompuan. takut kena rompak or rape or murdered.
There's another great shopping place. Karol Bagh. i tak sempat pergi but my husband sempat & dia kata best!
isshh.. tok sah lah nak pergi waktu terdekat ni.. dah summer ni.. panas gila. Every year, bpa ratus (or ribu ) org mati sbb extreme heat wave nih. best time to go is during spring or late winter. sejuk sikit. kalau panas..aiyoo...lagi 'berbau' lah. |

i agree with you muslyn.....india totally not for those nak sweet holiday....kang risau mcm2 plak kat sana....especially mkn minum nanti takut sakit lah.....tak tau nape india chaotic sangat...padahal indian kan pandai2.....yg terer2 siap jdk org paling kaya kat uk.....tapi apsal indian kat india tu x reti2...bukan nak degraded but thats the reality happening there |

never been to Delhi yet but india yes, but for me india is backpackers heaven, been there done that and loves it so much...

aku tgk price tags kat mothercare tu, umm.. letak balik ahh.. tak leh murah tara mana compared to KL pun, tapi diorg angkut mcm shopping kat kedai murah2 je..
eksyen plak tuh..
omputih mmg suka sgt pgi India, Tibet, Cambodia semua tu sbb they're different from their countries.. for us msians, dah biasa dgn Asian cultures tak rasa hebat sgt lah.. |

i think msia by far lg bagus compared to india....big cities kat sana semua nye penuh ngan setinggan....well setinggan kire oklah banding for those yg merempat kat tepi jalan....maybe kite ingat mumbai tu metropolitan city of india lah...glamarous bollywood.....tapi hakikat nya kat sana sgt lah membuatkan saya rasa bertuah wlaupun duk kat msia yg graded as developing country...tapi mcm mana pun india tu exotic lah....mcm2 ada!!! |

i think to compared to urbanisasi, oh cozlah msia menang, tapi mentality camana kaya dgn kaya miskin ngan miskin
sama taraf.. been to almost 20++ city town so can see the different from many view..
mu husband, he's canadian, he hate delhi, big toilet katanya.. but love goa, spent months there... |

I pergi alhamdulillah tak de cirit birit pun! but when my husband was in calcutta, dia cirit birit. nasib baik bini bos bwk ubat anti diarorhea. camni lah.. don't let setback or or other kesulitan menyusahkan you. You hv to be prepared. dah tau, ada potential to kena cirit birit, either you bwk ubat dr msia or you can buy there. India punya ubat is also good & murah! (unlike UK!!) drink only bottled water. mkn pulak, tgk2 lah sama.. jgn mkn gerai2 yg kotor. Choose decent restaurants or shops lah!
another thing, not necessarily sbb air kotor, but rather Indian food itself, esp nothern indian. byk spices & yoghurt. so, stgth perut org, tak tahan.
Delhi mmg "toilet besar". People poop or pee everywhere & anywhere.!! ini yg paling tak tahan! Ditambah lagi dgn cows' droppings!
another tips - Indians are very proud people,.. bukan sombong but they have high pride! Disebabkan ini, they'll never admit their mistakes & akan byk putar belit! (as if we don't know that kat msia nih! heheh) Don't let them intimidate you. & jgn percaya sgt kelentong diorg!
But the muslims i've met in India are very nice. Agra tu ramai Islam! |
