It was reported a week ago that SS501’s leader Kim Hyun Joong injured himself during rehearsals for SBS “Inkigayo” last March 23. At that time, it was said that his right leg has a more serious injury than what was originally thought.
Now, DSP Entertainment announced that Kim Hyun Joong is currently wearing a splint for his right leg. According to thorough examinations of his leg, it has been known that he has water on his right knee.
“He needs to take a rest and receive treatment for about 1-2 weeks. He is planned to not do any activities and to concentrate on treating his injury,” a DSP official said.

SS501 will again be seen in Japan through its concerts on July 12-13 at the Tokyo Dome City抯 JCB Hall and on 16-17 at the Nanba Hatch in Osaka. From April 17-22, tickets will be exclusively sold to fan club members while general ticket sale will start on May 17.

Kim Kyu Jong performed “It’s Raining”

In tonight’s episode of Mnet “MCountdown,” aside from performing “Deja Vu” with the whole group, SS501 member Kim Kyu Jong also performed Rain’s “It’s Raining.” While Kim Kyu Jong was performing, other members were below the stage showing their support.
Kim Kyu Jong was previously reported to perform Se7en’s “assion.”
On a different note, SS501 replaced Super Junior as the new MCs of Mnet “MCountdown” while members Park Jung Min and Kim Hyun Joong host SBS “Inkigayo.”
SS501 members transformed into characters, like a bartender, bodyguard, university student, Casanova and angel, they wished to be for their “A Song I Sing For You” music video, which was shot last April 27 in a set in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do. The shoot lasted for more than 30 hours.
In the music video, Kim Hyun Joong, the group’s leader, became a bartender,Kim Kyu Jong transformed into a bodyguard, Heo Young Saeng dressed like a university student, Kim Hyung Joon played Casanova and Park Jung Min acted as an angel.
Meanwhile, DSP Entertainment asks fans to look forward to the music video that the SS501 members shot without sleeping just so they could finish it.
On the other hand, SS501 already started promoting “A Song I Sing For You” since last weekend.
