Did and Done ... hmm, macam apg cakap done ni digunakan selepas Has, Have, Had atau BE.

Satu lagi DID ni digunakan apabila ada WAKTU dinyatakan (When Time Is Mentioned)
HAS, HAVE digunakan tanpa sebarang WAKTU yang dinyatakan.

eg.

I did that this morning.
I have done it.

He did pass by yesterterday.
He has passed by.

Itu yang aku paham.

i am no expert but i'll help you. bagi aku lak i would rather re-phrase ur sentence into

1. This is quite an interesting thread, however it has been abandoned.
- susah gak start ayat without the basic pronoun. if u r looking to making a formal sentence. kalo tak, quite an interesting thread tu ok enuff for colloquial usage.

2. we should continue this thread.
- ada we mcm mengajak forumer lain gak arrr  

3. anybody willing to take up lessons or give guidance?
- ajak sesape utk jadi anak murid or cekgu...

anyway, aku rasa kat bod language ada dah learn english thread and also kat bod school & unemployment ada bod borak2 in english with dexa.
