Interview: Oh, Se-Yeong, producer of Seoul Drama Awards
"I believe this is a great opportunity to promote Korean dramas around the world."
There is a growing global interest in the 2006 Seoul Drama Awards (SDA) to be held on Aug. 29 at 7:55 PM at the KBS Hall, Uido, Seoul.
The biggest buzz about SDA in Korea is the fact that SAD is the first time three terrestrial wave broadcasting companies and EBS will pool their resources to give appropriate recognition to the best dramas.
SDA also awards outstanding foreign dramas. This year, 105 foreign dramas from 29 countries have been submitted to the SDA, indicative of its growing clout in the international scene.
Owing to its international character, some of the best known Korean and foreign stars will appear on the stage, including Choi, Soo-Jong, Kim, Seon-Ah, and Kim, Jae-Won from Korea, Kusanagi Tsuyoshi of the hugely popular Japanese group SMAP and Jerry Yan of Taiwan's F4.
In an interview, Oh, Se-Young, KBS producer and producer of SDA, talked about the significance of SDA and how they all carefully prepared for it. Oh has already shown his masterful hands in producing some of the most ambitious events and shows such the opening ceremony for the 2002 Korea?Japan World Cup, the 2002 Busan Asian Games, and the Open Concert for the 100th Anniversary of Korean Emigration History to the USA.

indosiar.com, Taiwan - Seorang artis yang sudah populer biasanya memiliki ego besar, karena itu tidak heran bila tingkah mereka saat kemauannya tidak dituruti atau merasa tersaingi oleh rekannya sering aneh-aneh.
Karena itu, apa yang terjadi pada Ken Zhu cukup membuat bingung banyak orang. Dikenal sebagai seorang pria yang moody, baru-baru ini pria kelahiran 1979 tersebut mendapat 'cobaan' saat menyelesaikan syuting serial terbarunya Chu Liu Xiang.
Dipercaya sebagai pemeran utama, siapa sangka Ken mendapat perlakuan berbeda. Bersama rekan-rekannya yang lain, pria bernama lengkap Zhu Xiao Tien itu tinggal di sebuah kamar yang terletak di dekat lokasi syuting. Hal itu berbeda jauh dengan seorang rekannya yang lain Xiao Qiang, yang kabarnya ditempatkan di sebuah hotel yang cukup mewah.
Tidak hanya itu, wanita tersebut gosipnya juga diantar-jemput oleh sebuah mobil mengingat lokasi hotel yang cukup jauh. Hal ini sudah tentu membuat banyak orang heran, sampai-sampai Xiao Qiang sampai digosipkan memiliki hubungan tertentu dengan produser serial tersebut Mu Xiao Guang.
Begitu kabar miring itu mulai tersebar, produser Mu langsung memberi keterangan resmi, "Keputusan itu diambil karena Ken masih harus berlatih untuk dialognya, lagipula dialah tokoh utama serial Chu Liu Xiang jadi rasanya tidak masuk akal kalau ia tidak diperlakukan istimewa."
"Lagipula, semua sudah tercantum dalam kontrak dan pembicaraan saat kami mengontak satu-persatu artis yang ikut mendukung serial ini." Xiao Qiang sendiri hanya tertawa ketika dikonfrontir, dan malah dengan bercanda mengatakan gembira kalau pesonanya bisa menaklukkan sang produser.(uniteddailynews/kcifc_ph/mdL)

World Vision Malaysia will be sending a group of fans to welcome Jerry in the airport. Members who want to join, please let me know by PM as soon as possible. Transportation will not be provided by World Vision. Transport to the airport is arranged by your ownself. Meeting up point in the airport is to be confirmed! Jerry arrival is scheduled to be Monday, 1pm.. However, it is still subject to change..
Sad to say this, but World Vision does not let clubs to hang up big banners during the public event at One Utama. It is because they do not want Jerry image to overpower World Vision. They want this event is purely representing World Vision and not Jerry.. Only hand banner is permitted during the event..
There is slightly some changes in regards to the volunteer work. People who volunteer on the charity sales, World Vision wants you guys to buy the Jerry World Vision tee-shirt which cost RM30. Well, the committees have talked with World Vision that we volunteer because we can't help on the basis of financial and how can they charge us RM30 now for the tee-shirt. Firstly, they said that they will give us a free tee-shirt and now, they changed their mind.. They are working on this now and confirmation will only arrive on Monday. I'm sorry about this. World Vision said they will try to work things out how and let us know as soon as possible. Volunteers will receive a free mouse pad instead of tee-shirt now.
