Fellow gooners the news from the Emirates is not good. Arsene has no intention of making any more signings in the transfer market. In fact given the chance he will off load Eboue and Senderos along with Toure if he wants to go. AW intends to solve our defensive midfield situation with Song and then Nasri on his return to fitness. .
AW is content with his strike force of RVP, Arshavin, Bendtner and Eduardo also expect to see Walcott through the middle on occasions. . so no Huntelaar etc.
AW has stated on Arsenal TV that he has sufficient at the back . . and it's clear we have a clutch of midfield players to get us through the year. . so no more signings . .
Can we win the league with this crop of players probably not, hence all the talk is about 4th place already. . . On this note forget Adebayor to city – AW's biggest mistake was not signing Shay Given
So expect to see the likes of Gibbs and Simpson utilised as first team cover. .

don't worry gooners, Arsene will sign players. he always bides his time to get best deals & players best for squad. Yes we have sold 2 key squad players with Eboue looking likely to go too, but we have gained players we loaned out last season. Traore, Senderos have returned & will be better players (Senderos is not as bad as people say – AC would not have him if that was true – he made some bad errors in big games but will have improved on that). Rosicky & Eduardo returned to full fitness with loads to prove still. Arshavin is now available in all comps – he will be star of Prem this season!!!
Arsene knows what he needs. With money available (PROB £50mil) i would love him to make massive bid for someone like Essien for midfield. That would never happen & players like Essien do not just grow on trees. Personally i would like someone like Danielle De Rossi, he is class thru n thru. However if Lee Cattermole or this Matuidi fella arrive I would not be unhappy. Cattermole is atleast a decent hardman & Matuidi looks like a big Essien type enforcer. This position is our most needed – Denilson, Diaby & Song don't cut it at this level at all, they would not even provide decent enough cover in that position IMO. attacking wise we are okay but a proven striker like Huntelaar would be a wise buy & it looks like this will materialise before too long. At the back we are light at RB & i honestly don't know what Arsenes plan is for cover to Sagna. A worry. Left back we are laughing. Centre back. .Gallas Vermaelan Djourou Senderos & unfortunately Silvestre. I believe one of Senderos, Gallas or Silvestre will be offered as part exchange for quality replacement. .hopefully Hangeland! Otherwise he will not buy. .personally i would love Micah Richards as he ticks all the boxes & can play RB.
Lots of time to go. .be patient. A rumour is that we are linked with new Brazilian hot shot ZEZINHO & have already had a bid turned down. .watch this space. |
